Had a great time serving Learning in Retirement on Friday. We celebrated Octoberfest with a meal of schnitzel, Rotkohl,Bratkartoffein, Speckbohnen, Pretzels and Assorted Desserts.

Make sure to stop by the Marlor House and check out Jessica Whitehead's "Seeking Asylum" Exhibit! This exhibit will begin with an opening reception on September 8th from 5 - 7 PM. Jessica's artwork will be on sale and we will have light refreshments provided by J.Humphries Catering. Join us for a good time and some beautiful works of art!

Good morning art family! We will be hosting an Opening Reception for Mrs. Cindy Stubbs on Friday, August 11 from 5 - 7 PM. We hope you're ready to put some color in your life because this exhibit is BEAUTIFUL! Come check out beautiful artwork and pottery, enjoy the company of other art enthusiasts, and enjoy some light (and delicious) refreshments provided by J.Humphries Catering. Come join July 7 at this wonderful event.

Allied Arts has partnered with the Georgia War Veterans Home to make this exhibit possible! Beginning July 7th through July 21st, we will be displaying art by military veterans from the Georgia War Veterans Home to honor them for their service. We are very honored to host this exhibit so that we may give them a way to get their work out there to the world. Be sure to stop by to support your local vets and thank them for their service!

The Marlor House Art Center will be open M – Th from 10 AM – 3 PM throughout the exhibit, and Saturdays July 8 and 15 from 11 AM – 3 PM.

WHAT IF...
I often get asked how do I create things in the kitchen. It always starts with the question What If. On today's episode of What If I had some extra eggs. I thought What If I smoked the eggs? That led to this wonderful creation. A Smoked egg, with smoked pork, pickled bbq red onions, topped with a birria glaze.
