This season, sure. You could shop on Amazon for your favorite author. However, go the extra step and try to purchase or order the book from your local indie book store!

In our area, we have several. Consider Curmudgeon Books, Park Books & LitColab or Caprichos Books for your stocking stuffer purchase. Or even a gift card and your loved one can shop for themselves!

A friendly reminder that while FrightReads loves vendors, we're looking for people who make their items. MLMs are a no-go for us. There are hundreds of events that you can sell your candles, lotions, leggings and more.

We want small business owners to have a shot. Not a large corporation who "franchises" out.

Same goes for AI written books or generated art. If someone does pass through the cracks and is discovered at any time for not following the guidelines, they will be ejected from the event.
