Celebrating fall and the shift in the seasons.

The fluctuations in the temperatures and shorter days can be seen in the garden.

While the dahlias are coming into their prime, the cosmos are fading out. Zinnias are still cranking out the blooms and being thoroughly enjoyed by a sudden influx of monarchs. The sunflowers are standing tall, showing off their variety of colors.

All are at the mercy of Mother Nature and biding their time until our first frost.

I’m enjoying the bounty of blooms while I can but also looking forward to cleaning out the garden and tucking everything away for winter.
