I hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas! We are in the post Christmas stupor that feels so perfect after the marathon that has been the last few months! She is giving these boys a run for their money!!! (And I love it!) I remember when that tall boy was a little two month old chunk at my wedding! And now these three melt my heart each time I get the joy of photographing them! What an honor it is to capture them year after year!

During a family session…..mom and dad need a spotlight! Many of them haven’t had a “fancy” photo together since their wedding day. When I asked then if they wanted a photo together it was the husband that said yes first and put his arm around his wife. I loved that moment! They have 5 kiddos and have been doing life side by side well into the double digits and he still got excited for a photo with his wife! They giggled and snuggled and it just warmed my heart! She is a woman worthy of his adoration and he is a man that loves and leads his family so well! I’m so thankful to capture just a glimpse of the good stuff!!

On Saturday we added another niece to the Snyder crew. There hadn’t been a girl born into my family for over 20 years until my great niece was born two years ago so to add another niece by marriage is a sweet addition! She has embraced this crazy family of mine wholeheartedly. She loves my nephew with a fierceness and devotion you can only hope for those you love to experience. They are building a life brick by brick with hard work and determination, something often lost among their generation. I am so proud of them both and cannot wait to see the adventures that await them! Congrats to Corina and Jake! I’m praying for a lifetime of love!

She is beautiful, she is that kind of beautiful that is wild and free and easy! She is easy to chat with and once she spilled that she loves flowers, we went on a hunt for any flowers we could find. They weren’t plentiful but we found a few to bring extra life to her senior portraits! I’m so glad we did! She flowed even more, if that’s even possible!!

I met his mama in 7th grade. She was planning on being a model and I was in school to just have fun….maybe learn a little. We became fast friends and being a country girl, it was always fun going to her house in town and living what felt like the “city life”. Fast forward a few *ahem* years and he is a country boy that is in love with trucks, guns and working hard with his hands! It felt like a full circle moment. We tried our best to capture what he loves and taking them at his families farm was the perfect location! What an honor this was to capture this young man’s senior photos!

On Saturday this beautiful couple said their vows privately on his family’s farm. There was denim and lace, barn doors and lanterns. The breeze was heavenly as they stood on the grassy hill and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! The day was simply perfect and sweet!
