The Northwest’s second collegiate rodeo weekend will take place in just over two weeks. Regional Rodeo #2 will be graciously hosted at the Blue Mountain Equine Center in Pendleton, Oregon, on November 14th and 15th. Friday’s Long Round will begin at 4 PM, with the Short Round following Saturday at 10 AM. Entries will be due Monday, November 10th. Stay tuned for stall contact details and more rodeo information!

Agri-Times knows how hard our farm kids work: taking care of animals, showing in the fair, and/or working on the farm. We would like to showcase that work to our family of readers.
Open to anyone 18 or under. Write an essay about your farm-life or ranching experience. What have you learned?
Experienced? What kinds of life lessons have you discov-ered? We welcome all submissions both funny and/or serious. Please include photos.
Entries will be accepted through Oct. 31, 2025. First place will receive $100 and be published in Agri-Times. Second place will receive $50. Third will receive $25.
