🌚 Happy Lunar New Year! 2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon. 🐉

Did you know that this year is considered a particularly lucky year to get married⁉️ The year of the dragon is typically a lucky year for marriage, because it's believed to bring luck, prosperity, and happiness. This year also happens to be a leap year, which is believed to be prosperous for couples tying the knot. We also have a Super New Moon this Lunar New Year, which may be considered to be a symbol of abundance, fertility, or the beginning of a new cycle.

🌠💫 This celestial themed wedding was one of our last Fall weddings of the year, with the ceremony at the Wolfe Creek Wedding Dais & reception at the Mill House Barn. The bride had a long, beautiful lace train, with stars & moons sewn into it. 🌙✨ The wedding party carried lit lanterns down the aisle, and the ends of the aisles were adorned with balloon twinkle lights (which they also used on their reception tables). The wedding cake & cake pops had a gorgeous galaxy design. 🪐

Despite the bit of rain & chaos that transpired, this couple still stayed optimistic & determined to get through it...which just shows they'll have a strong, lasting marriage. The ancient Celts believed that if it rained during the handfasting ceremony, the couple's bonds would be stronger & harder to break...which is where the well-known phrase “tying the knot” comes from. 🌧

🍁 This cute wedding took place in early November last month, with the ceremony at The Lawn & the reception at the Mill House Barn. We missed the opportunity to get more photos of the ceremony, but the couple had a beautiful butterfly 🦋 realease...as well as these cute giant light-up letters that represented their 1st initials. They had a fun & unique layered cookie 🍪 wedding cake, and honored their strong faith by incorporating it throughout their wedding...including a very cute idea using a Bible as the wedding guest sign-in book. 🎚

🍁The last of our five October weddings took place just a few days before Halloween. The ceremony was held at the Wolfe Creek Wedding Dais & the reception at the Mill House Barn...our two most popular wedding venue combos! The couple had a cute personal pumpkin wedding cake, and little pumpkin candle holders on the reception tables for their Fall/Halloween theme. 🎃

The Mill House Barn is our most popular wedding reception venue. It can also be used for many other events, such as family reunions, group retreats, corporate/church/school events, etc. The Barn is a great option for the unpredictable Florida weather, and is large enough for big weddings/events of up to around 200 people...with room for a dance floor also! 💃

Upstairs inside the Barn, there is a loft dedicated for the wedding party (or other VIP's), and a 👰‍♀️ Bride's Room for the bridal party to get ready in; downstairs is an 🍝 Event Prep Kitchen, and the Blue Heron Room (which can be used for several different things, such as a 🧔‍♂️ Groom's Room, 🎶 dance floor - it also has a stage for a 🎸 DJ/band to setup, 👧 kid's play area, 🍲 food serving area, or even a rehearsal hall for smaller weddings).

This wedding reception below (main Barn area photos) was one of our many October weddings last month. 🍂 They utilized our bar-height wooden spool table & a couple of our other tables to create a 🍺🍹 bar serving area, and had a nice big dance floor. 🕺

🌲 The Lawn is our largest wedding venue, and able to accommodate up to around 400 people. It's located in a large, open grassy area, with a beautiful tree line in the background...which has a gorgeous tree tunnel inside, which is one of our prime wedding photo locations. The venue is spacious enough for a large event tent also, in case of unfavorable weather.

This wedding took place last month, and the weather was perfect! 🌤The bride had a very fun & unique entrance, with her escorted ride to the aisle via her father's race truck. 🛻 They also had a very beautiful triangular wedding arbor for their ceremony, adorned with Fall foliage...which also matched their aisle decorations. 🌾

👢👒🐴 This cute country Fall wedding was the 1st of 5 October weddings that took place last month. Both the wedding ceremony & reception took place at the Mill House Barn. The wedding party walked down the aisle through the large roll-top door on the side of the Barn, as wedding guests sat comfortably & watched the ceremony at their tables. 🍁🍂
