Milwaukee! Falcon Bowl has some cool updates in the works that we’d love to clue you in on 🦅🎳

…for bands in particular 👀 while weddings, events, and more will still take place, the music is what makes us all move.

Things have been rolling along, and we’re happy to announce that this place will be greatly improved as of October 1st in a few short weeks…

Among many other things, here are some of what you can look forward to:

• The main show room will be officially called “Falcon Hall” …follow for more soon

• The current green room updated with soundproofing, bathrooms, a working bar, and more - it’ll serve a dual purpose both as the green room for the Hall, AND for smaller, more intimate settings can serve as its own show venue. That’ll be called “Falcon Nest” - follow for more soon

• The patio has been cleared, cleaned, and is ready for full use during shows & more importantly - a full service load-in/out for equipment

• Shows will come fully staffed now with a box office, sound engineer, bartending, security

• Online ticketing with advance sales will be available

• A whole brand new sound system with monitors, subwoofers, and everything else necessary will be installed

🎳 JAM for GRAEME 🦅

The bands and pins are set and we are so excited to host a true celebration of our friend Graeme McDonald!! We've got all our details down below for Sunday and hope to see you all there! Remember that you are loved and every one of you is truly special!

🥕 CHARITY! All proceeds and profits from our event on Sunday will go to in Graeme's name. We will have a 50/50 raffle with fabulous prizes and we will be accepting donations on their behalf all day long. We will also have t-shirts available for $15 (see the last slide in our post). Every cent spent at Falcon Bowl will go towards this amazing charity (right in our own neighborhood) in Graeme's memory.

🎳 BOWLING! We've got sign ups for our 1st Graemual Tournament available in our bio. We'll do our best to have as many people who sign up included but we are limited by space. Again, GO TO THE LINK IN OUR BIO TO SIGN UP

🎸 MUSIC! We've got a huge lineup of some of Graeme's favorite local bands and they are all incredible. Music starts promptly at 7PM. We are requesting a $5 donation for entry (for charity). Bring a friend and rock out!

There is no easy way to say this, and it has been a very hard week for us. But we have the misfortune of informing our neighbors, regulars, loved ones, and community of the passing of our bar manager, Graeme McDonald. Those that know Falcon Bowl likely know Graeme. You could find him behind the bar almost any day of the week and he was integral to keeping our lanes running and our hall bumping. 

We lost Graeme to a motorcycle accident in our very own neighborhood on Sunday, August 4th. We have waited on informing the public about this as we wanted to respect the wishes of his family and of the police during their investigations. 

Now that those things have been wrapped up, we are both saddened and happy to announce, Jam for Graeme! A day long celebration of our good friend and an opportunity to honor his memory in ways we believe he would have wanted.

Such festivities will include a bowling tournament, memorial service and concert happening from 11AM-2AM on Sunday, August 25th at Falcon Bowl, with all profits and proceeds going to local charities in Graeme's memory. We’ll start to release more information and details next week. But for those that loved Graeme like we did, know that you are not alone and we want to celebrate him with you! 

Thank you to our neighborhood establishments and individuals who have sent us well wishes and offered their help and support over the past week while we grieved this tremendous loss. Without all of your love and support we would have struggled even more than we did.

We love our community and we love each and every one of you. We’ll be continuing as usual from here out so be sure to catch a show, roll a frame or stop by for a drink in the meantime. We hope to see everyone on August 25th!

Falcon Bowl is open to the public 4pm-2am Friday and 12pm-2am Saturday!

FRIDAY: We'll be helping our neighbors with their Spaghetti Dinner at 4pm! Then we've got a free show in the hall starting at 6pm!

SATURDAY: We're opening early at 12pm for $15 open bowling until 2pm. is hosting a show to wrap up the 24 starting at 6pm!

We can't wait to party with our neighborhood and can't wait to see our streets filled! Remember to have fun, make friends, but most importantly stay safe! Wear your helmet please 🙏🚴

Immediately following the Blessing of the Bock at 4:30 pm Bristlehead will perform. Bristlehead is led by Mike Fredrickson (of Saturday Night Live and Grand Old Opry fame) and consist of members of Paul Cebar’s band, Semi-Twang and The Moselys.

The talented and exciting Brew City Bombshells Burlesque and Cocoa Pearlesque Present: A Burlesque show will be at Falcon Bowl on Saturday night! Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm

📢🎉 ONLY 2 MORE DAYS until the WE STAND TOGETHER FUNDRAISER! We're raising money to fund a Juneteenth production for an all-black cast! This is incredibly important to myself and my fellow Black community. For decades, our voices have been forgotten, overlooked, or simply not seen, especially in the arts. We often face unfair wages or even non-payment. That's why this benefit show is vital. We need to ensure that Black and brown bodies are protected and celebrated for the amazing humans they are.

And guess what? Our White community of supportive allies is stepping up in a big way! We have 14 white performers from all over the Midwest coming in for one night only, donating a FREE act to this show. ALL proceeds from this production will help fund the Juneteenth production. How amazing is that?

So please, come and support this life-changing goal!
