✨Thursday, April 17th, we celebrate the new record release from The Midnight Purchase, and a new single from List Orange Cat!
✨The Midnight Purchase began in late 2018 with songwriter Peña’s abrupt return to Milwaukee, bandless, with a few hours of songs and a years worth of gigs already booked. Through the wonders of Craigslist it was that winter that the first iteration of the band was formed.
Following the 2019 release of their first musical offering the band garnered much acclaim and some nominations in Milwaukee, including “New Artist of the Year” by the WAMI’s and a win for “Folk Band of the Year” by The Shepherd Express’s Best of Milwaukee Awards. 2020 and the quarantine offered the chance for Peña to reimagine the sound he wanted to create around his music and through a few years of playing in the local music scene he was fortunate enough to recruit the current line up, all musicians he admired for one reason or another.
✨Looking for a band that delivers consistent High-Energy live performances and works even harder in the studio to keep fresh material pumping out regularly, look no further than LOST ORANCE CAT! This band hails from Milwaukee, WI and if you want Country, Straight Rock N Roll or something a little Funky this band delivers the goods! This tight-knit band shows off a mix of quality songwriting, dedication to their instruments and natural groove to that’ll have you moving to the pulse. Uniquely featuring a mandolin in the midst of a Rock band lineup sets this band apart from others in their genre.

If you go to enough concerts in Milwaukee, you’ve probably encountered Christopher Novak. He can routinely be seen at a variety of local shows—almost always camped out near the front of the stage—smiling wide, bopping his curly-hair to the music, and taking time to hug any friends in his vicinity. He’s one of the most positive, appreciative, and charismatic people in or around Milwaukee music... AND THIS SATURDAY IS HIS ANNUAL BIRTHDAY SHOW!!!

We are bringing the 80’s back to the future with the premier 80’s new wave cover band: ‘The First Wave’ ... and DJ Dance Commandr spinning 80’s tunes before/after and in between.

✨The Delta Routine have been at it for 20 Years and are celebrating with a special show with material spanning all of their 4 studio albums and more! They’re releasing new music for the first time in 10 years to celebrate the occasion. They’ll have special release vinyl and merch for a select few shows this year, available for the first time on May 23rd at The Cooperage. They’ll have some special guests joining them to help make this a show to remember for another 20 years!

The vibrant group of longtime friends, collaborators, and multi-dimensional artists formed in 2008 as an open mic songwriting outfit and hasn’t looked back since. The band has cultivated a captivating musical alchemy through collective dedication to their craft, the Midwest music community, and each other. ✨The sound of husband-and-wife duo Wise Jennings is something found only when a patently obvious musical connection onstage is so deeply impacted by their lives together off stage. Melissa and Jeff have realized a gift for authentic artistry that is playful, powerful, and sometimes dark. A tarantula in cotton candy. Wise Jennings borrows from gypsy, ragtime, punk, Americana, rock and roll and country music. The cherry on top is that they sound like a 4-piece band. Six years, five albums, Wise Jennings has played some of the region’s most well knows festivals and venues and been nice to other people.
