Welcome 2 Tha Industry Showcase (OPEN-MIC)

This is an event where the community can gather, and enjoy performances by many local independent and nationally acclaimed artists in a non-violent environment. Participating Artists have a chance to win cash prizes, radio-spins, interviews, guest judge and a feature artist appearance for the following week. There will be live DJs at each event, helping to add more excitement, and entertainment t

o the festivities. Currently, this adult competition consists of 20-30 acts coming together to compete in a single Open-Mic nite event. This event will have an elimination format decided by three judges to give contestants an un-biased decision . This gives the residents of Wisconsin an opportunity to showcase their skills and talent during a stage performance. The Welcome 2 Tha Industry Showcase is a artist-friendly environment that encourages new talent to promote themselves by networking, performances, and taking advantage of many different resources. Our goal is to build a name and brand that is dedicated to providing the community with a positive service and experience. Our ultimate goal is to expand to reach more artists and a broader audience. Also, we welcome and allow any artist the privilege of education skills in school or music. We encourage artists to educate themselves on the history of hiphop as well as school. We will help artists receive their diploma’s or H.S.E.D.’s as well as future education. Sponsoring and mentoring for artist to become a productive member of society on and off the stage through helping, volunteering, and spreading the word of artist unity. Currently, The Welcome 2 Tha Industry Showcase is seeking investors and sponsorship to make more of a positive impact on Wednesdays and also to include another venue on a different night.
