Happy Opposites Day! 🎨

What better way to celebrate than with the magic of complementary colors? In color theory, complementary colors sit opposite each other on the color wheel, creating bold and vibrant contrasts. For example, royal blue and yellow are a classic complementary pair, offering a striking visual balance.

In this design, we started with royal blue complemented by shades of yellow. To add depth and harmony, we incorporated analogous colors to yellow, or colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. We added shades of pink, orange, and peach. The result? A color palette that feels dynamic, cohesive, and perfectly balanced!

Creating custom decor is our specialty✨

We were thrilled to be asked to design a wedding backdrop at Pere Marquette Park’s Gazebo. Bringing unique visions to life is our favorite part of the process—especially when we get to build off the rich history of our city!

The elegant drapes and lush greenery we added to the gazebo created the ultimate wow factor for a romantic ceremony by the Milwaukee River.

Wedding planning is a highly emotional industry. As planners, we spend weeks and months working alongside our clients as they plan some of the most important days of their lives.

We share in some of the most intimate moments as we watch our couples share their first look, as father's walk their daughters down the aisle, and as the newlyweds dance for the first time as husband as wife.

Over 11 years ago, Oscar founded his company, Ambrosia Events. After pursuing a career in culinary arts, Oscar discovered his true passion for Speciality Events.

Since then, Oscar has planned and managed hundreds of events. He was also chosen to serve on the planning committee for the historical Baird Center Grand Opening in May 2024.
