Tina Draper, a local artist hailing from Louisa, Virginia embarked on her artistic journey at the Art Institute of Boston. After dedicating years to raising her family and career she rediscovered her passion for painting oils on canvas. Tina’s artistic focus has naturally evolved towards capturing the enchanting treasures of nature surrounding Spotsylvania, Louisa, Mineral, and Bumpass, with a particular specialization in depicting the region’s charming mills.

Karen Brainard discovered her enduring passion for art through an unexpected avenue – a fused glass art class that sparked a creative flame over 15 years ago. Entranced by the interplay of light on glass surfaces, Karen fell in love with the transformative process of melting glass into diverse forms. Whether crafting functional pieces or creating purely beautiful works, Karen finds pure enjoyment in the art of shaping and molding glass and hopes you will as well.

Hunter Perkinson, a Virginia Tech graduate in industrial arts, unearthed his passion for blacksmithing in 1990. Armed with years of dedicated practice and a collection of essential tools, he established Featherstone Forge in 2000. As the years progressed, Hunter’s artistic journey led him to transcend functionality, and today his creations stand as testament to his mastery of the blacksmithing craft and his ability to infuse nature’s essence into captivating works of art.

Mike Shutts, a skilled craftsman and artisan proudly rooted in Bumpass,Virginia channels the essence of this locale into his masterful creations. With a deep appreciation for the natural resources around him, Mike exclusively utilizes local wood in his artistry. Employing the techniques of fractal wood burning, decoupage, and resin application, he transforms each piece into a unique expression of art.

Joseph Shepperd Rogers aka AIVEN is back by popular demand after a successful art show at Everleigh this past Spring, One of the original members of the historic Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria,Joseph is back with more of his wild, expressive and striking acrylic paintings that have become his signature.
