On the road again! 🚗💍 This weekend, I’m headed back to Florida to enjoy some much needed family and vitamin sea time! The Valley team is also ending the trip at a charming barn venue for a family friend’s wedding, and it’s always special to bring the Vintage Valley experience to people who feel like family.

While we love our barn vibes, my passion is creating beautiful weddings anywhere couples can dream up – from rustic barns to coastal views and everything in between.

What an amazing testimony of how far this little venue has come. Never would I have imagined when we started this that people from New Jersey Arkansas, Indiana, and maybe a few more states in there…would choose to meet here to say ‘I do.’ We’re honored to be the perfect middle point for their love story and excited to welcome everyone from out of town.

Also, how amazing is this nighttime rehearsal!

Vintage Valley Weddings is up for another adventure! We are looking for 10 porches for Holiday Decorating. These are Pinterest pictures, which is where we get a lot of our inspiration. We can customize your porch and price or a flat rate for what we call a Welcome Home package. The Welcome Home package ($500) would consist of a door piece, two door side floral arrangements, welcome mat and a few unique pieces. We would set up and take down. I’ve spent the past few days in Florida with my family, unsure if I’d even have a flight home today.

Thankfully, my flight’s on time and I can now focus on finalizing preparations for this weekend’s wedding. But my heart is heavy for all those affected by the recent storms. The devastation from Hurricane Milton and Helene have left so many in need of support.

Let’s come together to help those who will be starting the process of rebuilding their homes and lives. Find a way to get involved, or donate to a charity helping those on the front lines. If you know of organizations making a difference, please comment with links so we can all help where we can.

My favorite part had to be the wood branding ceremony, especially knowing it incorporated a piece of wood from your family’s barn—a truly special touch that made the day even more meaningful. We’ve put the finishing touches on tomorrow’s big day, and the party is sitting at the barn by the fire dreaming about tomorrow’s big day. it’s all about those small details, laughter and tears of joy that bring a wedding together.
