Mikhala and Bryan eloped at their family cabin with their dearest friends and family. Their subsequent “Celebration of Love” at Uteplis Brewery was an opportunity for their whole community to bask in their joy! The ceremony was especially meaningful to me as they are some of my closest friends.
We welcomed them through a heartfelt tunnel of love, shared laughter and tears as we reflected on their journey, and lifted our glasses to how Mikhala always describes their relationship: “It’s always been forever.” 🥂🤍
I’m forever grateful for being asked to be a part of their celebration and for them letting me use an airhorn for their entrance and exit.

We hope Mikhala and Bryan’s renewal inspires you to infuse your ceremony with joy and to celebrate in ways that truly reflect your love and the people who matter most!! 🍺🥰🤍

It feels like time to reintroduce Brits and Brides.

Hi, I’m Beth Winter, 🤍
owner and officiant behind B&B.
I grew up in the picturesque seaside town of Hastings, England. There i had my most formative years, before fate led me to my Minnesotan husband in 2014. By 2015, I had moved across the pond and officially called Minneapolis my home.

After officiating the weddings of family friends, I discovered the joy I felt while curating and narrating heartfelt love stories. Together with my dear friend and fellow Brit, Anna Crace, we founded Brits and Brides.

Working with couples is my true calling, crafting ceremonies brimming with joy and personality. Your love story deserves to be a masterpiece, and I’m committed to making your ceremony as unique as the rest of your special day.

Re-introducing Anna Crace!

A born and bred south London girl, growing up in the historic capital city had brilliant perks! At a Halloween party in 2014, I met by now husband, who was in England for the weekend at the time. After living together in London for 3 years, we packed up and moved to his home town of Minneapolis together.

I’m a Theatre Director and I love working with playwrights and showcasing amazing actors around the country- which is maybe why I also love officiating weddings! The first wedding I officiated was for our friends in MN and I just fell in love with being part of the love story of a wedding. I realized that being able to tell the story of a couple’s love was something that I was not only good at, but meant the world to me.

I’m excited for you to embark on your journey with us and be part of the family! 🥂✨

Amanda and Bryce were planning on having a big wedding before finding out they had a little surprise on the way! They decided to get married in their living room with just their parents and dogs. Writing your vows can feel scary, but don’t let the fear stop you! ✒️
Vows are meant to highlight your relationship, show your personality as a pair and make people laugh! Jennifer and Kevin got married back in June, at the gorgeous Harriet Place. Not only were they vows to each other emotional and raw, they were funny and contained promises for the future. They both also did vows to the others children’s, something that was incredibly beautiful and heartfelt. 💕
Your ceremony should be just as personalized as the rest of the day - and if you feel overwhelmed, that’s what we are here for!!

Jenna and Dharma got married at the Blaisdell in Minneapolis on October 9, 2021. 🍾🤍
Both Jenna and Dharma work in healthcare and this past year they braved the pandemic (healthcare hero’s), dressing in full PPE, and traveling to see each other. Their vows to each other on the day were perfect and their love is going to set them up for a lifetime of happiness! Congratulations!

Wedding fact 💍:
You are in charge of getting your wedding certificate! You apply for it at your local court house and bring it with you to your wedding.

After it is signed we will post it on your behalf. That way you can party the night away, without worrying where you left your wedding certificate!

It takes about 2 weeks to receive your official document back once it is filled with the county.

Marcie & Andy’s Hallowedding! 🎃🎃
THEY’RE ALIVE!! ⚰️ Ceremonies should be as fun as the rest of the day, and Marcie and Andy obviously agree!! We had so much fun making this ceremony unique - including videos, wine in test tubes, and so much laughter. What a fantastic night, for a FANGtastic couple. Till dead do them part ❤️

Happy Anniversary to our British Bride, Anna! She has now been married to her husband, Robert, for 3 years. When we meet with our couples, Anna loves to explain she had 3 weddings to the same man!! This photo is from wedding #2, the wedding in her parents backyard in England. They also got married in Robert’s mum’s living room, and a third celebration at a brewery! That’s the thing with international love, well actually- love in general, you get to celebrate as much as you want!

Brits & Brides story time: Beth and her husband Erick had to get married at very short notice because of her visa. A quick “I do” in Erick’s grandmas living room, ate some jimmy johns and called it a night. Finally, 6 years later, on their 6 year wedding anniversary, they decided to have a renewal ceremony and reception, with all the people who have been on this journey with them. Obviously Anna did the ceremony, and it was too beautiful to even describe. Now for the hat.. Anna wore a marching band hat for part of the ceremony, because at the original wedding the service got interrupted by a member of the local marching band asking for money! 😂😂 the moral of the story is: Anna is fantastic and you’re so lucky if you have her as your officiant!
