Anna and Beth were both born and lived in England until their twenties. Similarly, they both married Minnesotans and moved to the twin cities around the same time. While living here they met for the first time and formed a beautiful friendship, consisting heavily of tea, laughter, their puppies, missing family and talking about the Great British Baking Show. Both Anna and Beth’s marriages involve

sacrifice, moving, happiness, and a whole lot of love! They know how when you meet your soulmate you will do anything to be with them, including moving halfway across the world. When it comes to your ceremony, Brits & Brides will do everything in their power to bring your story to life, incorporating elements of your personalities, your family, your next chapter and some British charm! Anna and Beth LOVE love and will work with you on whatever type of ceremony you need, from traditional, to commitment ceremonies, to short and sweet. They will help you create a beautiful ceremony that people will be talking about for years to come. Once you have decided you want to work with Brits & Brides, Anna or Beth will reach out to let you know who, of the two, will be officiating your wedding. The next step will be setting up a meeting to talk through your love story, and what you envision for your ceremony. An e-book will be emailed to you to look at prior to the meeting that contains the different options offered for you to choose from. This day, YOUR day, is a celebration of soulmates and we can’t wait to be a part of it.

There is something so wonderful about a wedding that feels completely true to the couple. Emily and Fernando’s ceremony was just that: romantic, personal, and full of meaning. From Emily walking herself down the aisle and Fern meeting her half way to “At Last” (swoon!), to them sealing their vows with a padlock on a piece of art that will hang in their first home.
And true to who they are, their exit was unforgettable. After being pronounced married, their bridal party danced down the aisle to recreate Pam and Jim’s iconic wedding moment from The Office.
Stop thinking your ceremony has to follow tradition. Be bold, and make it full of love, laughter, and thoughtful touches that it it truly unforgettable.

We’re honored to officiate every wedding we’re part of—but there’s something especially meaningful about marrying people in your own community.
Brits and Brides started by marrying friends, so Anna getting to officiate our friends’ marriage (twice) was incredibly special. 🤍

Hannah and Mar first got married in Anna’s kitchen earlier this year, in an intimate ceremony where they signed their wedding certificate. Then, this summer, they celebrated again — this time in a barn filled with paper lanterns, twinkle lights, and beautiful moons. Surrounded by their family and friends, they promised to love each other always.
The celebration was gorgeous, full of tears, laughter, and Mar leading everyone in a two-step! ✨🌙

Alexis and Noah’s wedding day felt like something out of a dream — thoughtful planning, deeply romantic, and beautifully timeless. Their ceremony was filled with meaning moments: their rings were passed from guest to guest to surround them in love, their vows were equally emotional and funny, and their stunning photos captures every second with elegance.
A special detail was the British tradition of signing their wedding certificate mid-ceremony, although we added a fun twist — we drew the witnesses’ names from a box, inviting them to join us at the front to make their marriage official.
Alexis and Noah, we wish you a marriage filled with belly laughs, traveling and exploring, take outs from Low Brow, and Alexis always winning at Scrabble!

And as you can see from photo #2, I can’t believe I get to do this for a job!!

Their wedding day was an absolute dream—set against the gorgeous backdrop of a babbling creek, surrounded by incredible family and friends, and sealed with a vow to stay best friends while stepping into married life together.
Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, more pets, Pea Soup Days, and plenty of Old Fashioneds and Espresso Martinis!

Side note: I promise to never stand between my couples during their first kiss—but you’ll always find me just off to the side, cheering like the proud, excited officiant I am 💕

Maria couldn’t help but think it was a little… strange - but also completely endearing and sweet. That moment stuck with them, so during their ceremony, they chose to create a chocolate milkshake together as a nod to that memorable date. Mikhala and Bryan eloped at their family cabin with their dearest friends and family. Their subsequent “Celebration of Love” at Uteplis Brewery was an opportunity for their whole community to bask in their joy! The ceremony was especially meaningful to me as they are some of my closest friends.
We welcomed them through a heartfelt tunnel of love, shared laughter and tears as we reflected on their journey, and lifted our glasses to how Mikhala always describes their relationship: “It’s always been forever.” 🥂🤍
I’m forever grateful for being asked to be a part of their celebration and for them letting me use an airhorn for their entrance and exit.

Hi, I’m Beth Winter, 🤍
owner and officiant behind B&B.
I grew up in the picturesque seaside town of Hastings, England. There i had my most formative years, before fate led me to my Minnesotan husband in 2014. By 2015, I had moved across the pond and officially called Minneapolis my home.

After officiating the weddings of family friends, I discovered the joy I felt while curating and narrating heartfelt love stories. Together with my dear friend and fellow Brit, Anna Crace, we founded Brits and Brides.

Working with couples is my true calling, crafting ceremonies brimming with joy and personality. Your love story deserves to be a masterpiece, and I’m committed to making your ceremony as unique as the rest of your special day.

I’m so excited at the idea of working with you, infusing your ceremony with British flair and making your journey down the aisle an experience filled with joy, peace and everlasting memories! Let’s create some magic! ✨

Re-introducing Anna Crace!

A born and bred south London girl, growing up in the historic capital city had brilliant perks! At a Halloween party in 2014, I met by now husband, who was in England for the weekend at the time. After living together in London for 3 years, we packed up and moved to his home town of Minneapolis together.

I’m a Theatre Director and I love working with playwrights and showcasing amazing actors around the country- which is maybe why I also love officiating weddings! The first wedding I officiated was for our friends in MN and I just fell in love with being part of the love story of a wedding. I realized that being able to tell the story of a couple’s love was something that I was not only good at, but meant the world to me.

I’m excited for you to embark on your journey with us and be part of the family! 🥂✨
