It’s time for another wedding week spotlight!💍

Mary & Dre are high school sweethearts and they tell their story of how they met!

“We met in high school, I decided to prank call someone because I was bored. Dre was my victim of choice and the guy KEPT THE CONVERSATION GOING. I called him again a couple days later and we talked for like 3-4 hours. After the 3rd call (6 hours) I gave him my real name and unblocked my number. We talked on the phone non-stop and texted for like 6 months before we finally met up that summer in 2009. We walked to Target and back to my apartment 😅. Our second "date" was a walk to the park and we had our first kiss (he made the first move) and the rest was history. On and off for 2 years. A 5 year no contact break, then a drunken message on Facebook in 2017 rekindled the conversation and eventually the flame.”

Hubby and I were able to attend the Taste of Marshall for the 3rd year in a row and once again it didn’t disappoint!

It’s always fun to see people in the community supporting local events! Delicious food filled us up!

Thanks to the Marshall Area Chamber for hosting a great annual event! We look forward to next year’s event as well!
