The Warren-An Artist Habitat is sad to say that one of our loveliest humans we’ve ever had to to the stage has gone from this world where he had shown us many talents. His music, poetry, and photos were an inspiration to many. Our hearts got out to his family and his partner Catherine. Goodbye Gary we were proud to have you “loiter” with us.

The Tiki goddess has been stolen from our tenant The Goddess of Glass she is very heavy and hopefully has not gone far, she is one of a kind so if you think you have seen her any place but where she is supposed to be you have seen her. Traffic Sign Issues

Hi Neighbors - could you do us a favor? We need folks to request "stop for pedestrians in crosswalk" signs for the intersection at 44th Ave N and Osseo/Penn. We have patrons, and residents crossing that intersection everyday. It's incredibly dangerous and most drivers don't even slow down. Signs, especially ones warning that a cross walk is coming up, may help the problem. Could you please fill out the following form or call 311 to request signage? The City will respond to vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic safety issues and concerns. The City will remove or repair signs that are downed or damaged, and are a hazard to public safety (contact 311). Budget reductions have impacted some sign services that may have been supplied in the past.

It is a scorcher! However, Camden Farmers Market, Minneapolis, MN and The Goddess of Glass, and The Warren-An Artist Habitat will be open today 3-8pm! Bring your kids, even though it will be warm we will be having some misters and a kiddie pool to wade in! So Bring some swim shorts or clothes you don't mind getting wet! The farmers can take it, so can you!! Sweet Corn Today!! Also don't forget dinner can be handled as there will be a food truck on site. So much fun!

Today we are saddened by the tragic loss of activist, Artist, and friend of The Warren. Susan Spiller was a true friend to many and the savior of many a greyhound. A talented artist and activist in her neighborhood, Susan worked with the Warren many times as a tireless volunteer and as a contributor, she will be sorely missed. Tomorrow night, Friday July 17 about 7 pm please join us to get together and try and process this. We hope to see you there.
