Come out, view and support those talented floral designers who are participating in the MN State Fair (Ag-Hort-Bee) floral design competitions!

Another group of talented floral designers will be participating in the North Central Florist Association's professional floral design competition!
The top 10 are selected, then the top 6 finalists will go on to a live surprise package competition at 6:00 pm on the DIRT STAGE.
Our school will be there to cheer on these creatives!
Both are held in the Hort Building-

Featuring live interactive demonstrations, along with class specials, an introduction to our Design Group and opportunities to network and connect with other students and designers, who love flowers, like you.

This is a great opportunity to:
-Further explore your love of flowers & design for a career in a fun, casual setting
-Learn more about fine-tuning your skills
-Get back into a continuing education program
-Invest in yourself and in your knowledge and business
-Invite high school students who are looking at what their options are after school

We will not be masking for this event, at this time. However, you are always welcome to mask, and we do have an air purifier in our classroom.

MAY YOUR HOLIDAY be full of moments that fill your heart, mind and soul.

STUDENT FEEDBACK I wanted to let you know about the flowers I did for my daughter’s (school) gala over the weekend. It was just amazing and I could never have pulled it off without all I have learned from every one of you. I was super prepared and had help from six moms who do not work in the industry. All of them have attended one of my flower parties previously. However, every one of these arrangements was to be unique and we used different size and types of vases. I did tweak many of them, adding and adjusting some. Overall, the finished looks were stunning. The whole evening I had guests coming up and complimenting the designs. One mom at my table asked me to do her spring containers-whatever I wanted, and she would write me a check. No budget! This week I started working with a studio that works heavily with weddings in the metro area. A heartfelt thank you, thank you, thank you! I pinch myself when I think I decided to start my business right when Covid shut everything down. This last year has changed my whole purpose and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I am grateful for each of you, everyday. -JA, May 2021 THANK YOU, JA, for your kind words. It is always exciting to see our students run with the knowledge. Pure joy there!
