Can you believe August is almost over? It’s been quite the whirlwind—our team has been working tirelessly, and I have to say, this month has definitely kicked our butts! But we’re excited to end it with a bang.

We’ve got a fun wedding to close out the month, and it’s shaping up to be something really special. Our clients have been fantastic to work with, and their enthusiasm has really kept us motivated through the craziness of this season. I always feel so lucky to have clients who trust us to bring their vision to life!!!

I also have to give a shoutout to our team—they’ve been nothing short of amazing. Their dedication and creativity are what make it all happen, and I couldn’t be more proud of the work they’ve done! 💕

I’m really excited about the events we have lined up. It’s going to be another busy stretch, but I know it’s going to be worth it.

These are some of our favorite 2024 trends we expect to see a lot more of before the wedding season ends.

Unsure of where to start in the wedding design process? Start by understanding your own design style and what makes your work unique. Identify the core elements that define your aesthetic, whether it’s a preference for minimalism, a love for vintage, or a passion for vibrant colors.

If you're still in love with a trend, find ways to personalize those elements. Put your unique spin on them to make them your own. Incorporate trends into your designs without losing your authenticity.

A couple of our MAVENS had one of those nights where everything’s just...a vibe. We’re talking next level dinner goals with old friends and new, and, spoiler alert, it’s everything!

Dishes whipped up by a James Beard level chef. Yeah, you read that right! Everyone’s laughing, sharing, and just soaking up the good vibes. It’s the kind of night where memories are made, where you’re snapping pics not just for the gram, but because you wanna remember this epicness forever.

Every element of this experience, from the meticulously curated dishes to the warehouse’s curated aesthetics, serves as a conversation piece. Each dish was like diving into an episode of “Chef’s Table” but in real life.

I hope you get to experience something like this soon Keep your calendars open and your invites closer, because a night like this doesn't happen often!

When you’re all about that sustainable floral life, you’re not just looking good, you’re doing good for the planet and your community.
The top ways we keep it green in our floral design:
First off, you gotta be smart about where you get your blooms. Try to snag those flowers that are grown nearby to cut down on the carbon footprint. Local is lit, and it helps out local peeps, too.

Go with the flow of the seasons! Pick flowers that are strutting their stuff in your current season. That way, you’re not messing with the environment or Mother Nature’s schedule.

Traditional foam is a no-go. Sustainable florists are finding better alternatives that don’t mess with our planet. Chicken wire or reusable frogs are the way to go.

Vases and containers? Reuse ’em, or recycle ’em!

Use every bit of those flowers, peeps. No waste! Compost what you don’t use, or get creative and repurpose it.

Consider dried flowers or preservation. It’s a way to keep the flower love going longer.

There are plenty more ways to embrace sustainability, in floral design, and life! The biggest thing is to keep sustainability in mind throughout the process.

I'll take too many apples in a tablescape any day.

There’s a certain nostalgia that sets in as the season changes. I find myself reminiscing about all the summers, when life seemed simpler and the possibilities were endless. There is less of that as an adult, but it's still there sometimes!

The shorter days definitely make it seem like fall is coming, so bring on the cozy sweaters, warm blankets, and hot beverages.

If you haven't planned to sneak off during your wedding day, do it now. Seriously, find a secret spot just for you two, away from the crowd. It's like a mini timeout to soak in all the feels and remember why you're doing this. Plus, it's a memory you'll laugh about and cherish forever. Sneak away, soak it in, and then jump back into the fun.

Don't forget to tell your planner how long you'll be gone, and maybe have your photographer meet up with you for a quick minute before heading back.

Styled shoots provide a controlled environment to showcase our brand’s unique identity, aesthetics, and values. Through carefully curated visuals, we can communicate the type of work we want to do and the type of work we're good at!

In desert towns, there's a creative energy that thrives – a blend of arts and culture that attracts artists, writers, and musicians. We have a shared love for the environment and a slower-paced lifestyle and always wanted to do a styled shoot in Joshua Tree.
So, you can imagine how these images have me gobsmacked, since they were created with ai, based on prompts I would typically give a team of professionals. Even though the use of ai is still uncertain, I'm amazed by the ability to generate visuals that align with human concepts and ideas. These photos might just replace our previous sketches and mock-ups for those hard to imagine settings, just maybe.

Creating an event design for a corporate client’s employee appreciation event involves thoughtful planning, coordination, and attention to detail.

We create a cohesive decor plan that enhances the chosen theme and sets the desired ambiance, without going too kitsch. Consider elements like lighting, color schemes, signage, and branded materials that reflect the company’s identity.

In this design, strongly encouraged costumes, and a strategically placed photobooth at the entrance created immediate team bonding and employee participation.
