Hey everyone! Did you know that 2024 is a Leap Year? We want to take a moment and reflect on the last leap year, around the same time we started our business originally named Simply Wed. Back on February 29th, 2019 we celebrated leap year with a Pop-up Wedding Event. We were offering 4 couples the chance to get married with all these wonderful inclusions on the same day.

We didn’t see this service being offered in Minnesota, and wanted to create an all-inclusive alternative way to get married.

When the pandemic hit, there were a lot of restrictions that caused us to maneuver this event to stay in compliance with government regulations in accordance to the CDC. Because we cater to couples seeking weddings with smaller guest list, we were able to strategically maneuver the ever-changing restrictions and regulations. We were also noticing a lot of larger wedding planning businesses mimic our same model to stay in compliance and cater to smaller wedding groups, so we knew this trend was here to stay!

Fortunately, we were able to still work with the couples that signed up for our original event and later provide them with a beautiful and intimate celebration. We are so grateful to be in business for all these years and overcome the challenges and triumphs of our business.

What better way to celebrate today with a wedding! Yes, we will be marrying a couple today, February 29, 2024. Cheers to us! Cheers to Love! Celebrating an Extra Day and extra Special Moments!

She was also a strong leader and advocate in the community. We are honored to have had Pat as a part of our team. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and dearly beloved partner Kim Hines. What is Juneteenth?

Juneteenth is a  holiday celebrated on June 19th to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. This holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.

This day can be celebrated by learning the history and supporting your black communities. As a black owned business we want to say "Thank you for supporting us"!

Buur! It's another Minnesota snow day! We hope you all are staying warm and safe during this snowy season. This is a great time think about wedding planning for next year while sipping on hot cocoa or curled next to the fireplace. The great thing about our Microweddings is since they are all-inclusive they require minimal planning. We take care of all the hard parts 😊

Love highlighting theses moments! Tip about having a boutonniere: your boutonniere should match the bouquet or other boutonniere but differ slightly from your wedding party. Having a family member or close friend help you with the pinning process is an honor as well as a great way to get them involved.
