I’ve been away from Instagram for almost a month now, so it only seems fitting to post again on this Mother’s Day weekend. On April 18th, I lost my beautiful mother in law, Sunday. She was a strong, confident, compassionate, loving woman of God who inspired me in every way.

This Mother’s Day, and I’m sure other holidays to come, will hit a little differently because of her absence.

We miss her every day, but have peace knowing she’s up in Heaven hanging out with Jesus, dancing, and decorating anything she can get her hands on.

So Happy (early) Mother’s Day to the ones who have mothers, to the ones who have lost mothers, to the ones who are mothers, and to the ones who desire to be mothers. We hope this weekend you are surrounded by the ones you love most.
