The last couple years have been one global event after the other that has made it difficult to want to post without feeling superficial and out of touch with the world. Simply dropping a post about other people’s anguish feels performative between squares of other people’s joy. Then again maybe this is the place to use our privilege to escape it all for a while. I’m so lucky to be connected to work that reminds me everyday that family is at the root of what we do. It reminds me that it’s ok to find those little moments that bring us joy. It’s what we’re all trying to do. Wishing you (and the world) a little love and peace today.

Just a little note to say hi. Still here. Getting to know our littlest love (he’s a total sweetie) and keeping up with our beautiful client plans. Also currently watching what I refer to as make out snow. You know the kind I’m talking about? Soft, slow, no wind, movie-like… Makes you want to grab someone and have a little snowy smooch. That’s it! That’s what I have this Thursday. Enjoy the rest of your week!

We are closing the season down tomorrow with our last two weddings! We made it! This is our 13th year in the industry and I’d say by far our luckiest. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to make these connections with clients and vendor friends.

The gratitude runs deep this season after experiencing a medial emergency late summer and witnessing the kindness from clients, professionals, friends, and family stepping in to help me and to ensure my clients still get to experience all the goodness they should on their wedding day. Most of all, they were stepping in to help me. How did I get so lucky to have people care about me and be willing to jump in without hesitation to see me succeed in life’s tough moments? Or have clients that put my well-being before their biggest day? I count myself among the luckiest, always, but especially now. Thank you, friends.
