While the leaves have fallen, and the skies have turned cold and grey….”fall reminds us that everything must end to begin again.”

Today marks the beginning of my 59th trip around the sun. Another year to be wiser, not older.

As I look forward to a new year, I can’t help feeling grateful for all that I learned about me at 58….

A wonderful year of growth, self love, care and awareness.
A year about doing the hard work to find me!
Learning about myself and what brings me joy.
Taking care of my mind, body and soul.
Picking myself up and doing all the things that I love to do and am good at.
It was about finding inner peace.
Finding joy.
Trying new things.
Meeting new people.
Spending more time with lifelong friends.
Doing things that bring me happiness.
Creating beautiful moments for myself and others.
Cooking.
Yoga.
Knitting.
Time spent well.
Not settling.
Not letting fear get in the way.
Addressing things head on.
Being stronger than I ever thought I could be.
Being confident.
Being curious.
Creating new, beautiful memories.
Never losing sight of what is most important.
Forgiveness.
Being me.
Most importantly loving me…

I don’t know yet, what 59 will bring…but, I know I will face it head on. With eyes wide open, and do my best to continue to grow and find the beauty within me. As well as in all the little things life presents along the way.
I am thankful. Grateful. Humbled.
