Join the family of Barry Wendling, longtime ice cream truck man of Eastside St Paul, as they have an informal celebration of life gathering at Wilder Park and Community Center on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 5-7pm.

They will have a few tables with photos and a laptop video of Barry, as well as other mementos of his life.

An ice cream truck from Big Bell will be there giving out free fruities and a limited range of ice cream.

If the weather is bad, we'll move indoors.

In response to people asking about Barry's funeral/memorial etc. There was an obituary in the Sunday Star Tribune. His family has decided to hold his memorial service when the weather warms. If there is any public notifications we will share it here

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that one of our longtime ice cream truck drivers, Barry, passed away this weekend. Barry was a driver on the East Side for over 30 years. Rest in Peace Barry
