Nothing can stop Chowgirls when it’s party time!
Last weekend, a fire at a neighboring business brought first responders to block the driveway at Chowgirls HQ. 🔥🙀
Thankfully the fire only resulted in property damage AND our problem-solving team had the smarts to create another exit for a rental truck filled with food and equipment. We made it to all our events on time with rave reviews to boot. 🥳
Wonder what this weekend’s events will bring! 😵💫
Chowgirls Garnish Garden Update 4.27.2022
Co-Founder Heidi's getting a jump start on our Chowgirls garden at home with some happy-looking seedlings.
Soon they’ll be outdoors at our headquarters, providing garnish and ingredients for our summer and early fall events.
From edible flowers to tomatoes, our garden gets bigger and better every year and is one of many ways Chowgirls practices sustainability every day.
New wheels! We added a new pack truck to our fleet so we can haul around all the equipment — ovens, coolers, tables, chairs, tents, paella pans. Whatever you need to pull off your party, we can get it there.
We were honored to be part of Megan and Chris’s big day at @walkerartcenter this past Saturday! Check out this insanely gorgeous floral installation by @ergofloral 🌸💕
Paella is always a crowd-pleaser. For this Mediterranean-themed party, we used two 36-inch pans to make 150 servings of this Spanish rice dish. Chock full of mussels, shrimp, chicken, and chorizo, it’s layered with seasonings of saffron, paprika, red and black pepper, garlic, onion, and more.
Drawn by the magnetic aroma and the show of creating such an epic dish from scratch, guests gather in anticipation. And they’re rewarded with a hearty, adventurous meal that they’ll remember for years to come.
