Chowgirls is looking for experienced, high-volume bartenders who thrive in a lively, fast-paced environment.

You’ll be crafting cocktails, serving beer and wine, slinging snacks, and making theatergoers feel welcome and taken care of.

Preferred Experience:
• 1+ year bartending
• Must be 21 years of age
• Familiarity with beer, wine, and cocktail basics
• High-volume bartending background
• Must be available evenings, weekends, and show nights.

We were thrilled when the Cargill asked us to cater their Pride After-Party this weekend at BrühavenCraft Co., formerly Lakes & Legends. This venue, so close to Loring Park, was the perfect spot for their team to relax and enjoy some food and drinks after celebrating.

We’ve had a lot of serendipity with The Coven over the years. Most recently, this winter, when Chowgirls CEO Heidi and Director of Hospitality Meghan were departing a meeting at the Eat Street Coven, they wished there was a Coven in NE. It’d be a dreamy solution to space constraints at Chowgirls HQ.

The next week, we received an announcement that The Coven Northeast was opening — within walking distance from our headquarters! Way to manifest destiny, Chowgirls!

We jumped on the opportunity and created a place for our Marketing and Sales teams there. The aesthetic vibes and inclusive values at the Coven are a natural match for Chowgirls. There’s no shortage of positive energy and professional passion in that wing of the Nordøst building!

Thank you to Alex, Erin, Lisa, and everyone at the Coven for making our world a better place and our dreams a reality. It was an honor to celebrate this month’s grand opening of the Coven NE. Welcome to the neighborhood!

So happy to hear the news that our friends at Hoyo — a local business owned and operated by Somali women — have support to expand at Midtown Global Market.

A long-time favorite on our menu, their Sambusa are proven crowd pleasers. Now they can make enough to feed the masses at the Minnesota State Fair! Go Hoyo go!

The decade-old business is moving to a $1.6 million commercial kitchen at Midtown Global Market as it anticipates tripling in size.
