There’s something magical about weddings—especially when they involve pickled herring, mashed potatoes, and laughter that echoes across the rolling countryside of Redeemed Farm. Cortney and Brad’s wedding day was one for the books, blending heartfelt moments with humor and charm.

Brad kicked things off with a story about his initiation into Cortney’s family, involving some culinary combinations and serious testing of his fortitude. “I knew I was being tested to join the family,” he quipped, recalling his first Thanksgiving with them. Spoiler alert: he passed with flying colors.

Cortney, described as someone who “always knew what she wanted,” radiated joy throughout the day. Her sister shared how Cortney’s enthusiasm for Brad was unmistakable from the start, “She was never quiet about him—always smiling when she spoke his name.” Brad’s love for Cortney was just as evident, as he vowed not only to cherish her but also to protect her from every spider they’d encounter in their life together.

Their vows were as unique as they were touching. “I promise to be your partner in every sense of the word,” said Cortney, balancing humor and sincerity with ease. Meanwhile, Brad’s promise to “love and cherish” his bride “till death parts us” was as classic as it was heartfelt.

The celebration at Redeemed Farm provided the perfect backdrop. Family and friends toasted to their future, offering advice, laughter, and a few tears. “If she gives you a quiet stare, Brad, find an alternative option,” her maid of honor jokingly advised. By the end of the evening, it was clear this was more than a wedding—it was a joyous beginning to a lifetime of love and adventure.

Lydia and Tyler tied the knot at The Essence Event Center on a picture-perfect October day. For anyone in a relationship with a partner in a different…well…”ecosystem,” you’ll understand just how significant Tyler and Lydia’s presents to each other were. Tyler not only gifted Lydia an Apple product, he also gracefully accepted Lydia’s present (an iPhone). Yep, that’s true love folks.

The morning was full of fun, starting with our meeting Lydia’s mom, who was walking around with “tiny hand” props for reasons we did not understand, waving us into the room. Down the hall, the groomsmen had a bar in their room along with many games of chance. Given their excitement, I assume they were playing a casino type game, but it might’ve been high-stakes yahtzee.

Lydia and Tyler’s heartfelt vows left not a dry eye in the house, and we felt privileged to capture such raw emotion. With everything going on during a wedding, I think it’s sometimes hard for people to stay in the moment, but Lydia and Tyler were so clearly present.

At the end of the night, a wild dance party ensued and everyone danced their tails off. Lydia and Tyler, thank you for having us there to capture your special day. Congratulations!
