Painted Walking Sticks was the subject of the most recent “Workshop Wednesdays” art class at the Campanile. “Each Wednesday through the summer months we have a variety of instructors teaching at the Center, said Sandy Madden, Executive Director for the Campanile. “We have had great participation and participants have had a lot of fun!” Madden continued.

In collaboration with area school music teachers Maya Woods and Megan LaFountain, and support from the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, the Campanile is Announcing a new program - Campanile Youth Band and Choir Camps! Camps will run August 7th-10th with a combined concert on August 11th. The choir will rehearse from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm and the band from 4 pm to 6 pm Aug 7th-9th. On the 10th we will have a combined dress rehearsal with a pizza party to celebrate our work together! Finally, on Aug 11th there will be a combined concert at 1 pm for the community to show off our young musicians work! It’s The Red Hot Chilli PIPERS—(NOT the Peppers!)—a 9-piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers—who have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing to Melbourne and everywhere in between with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless. The band has four music degrees from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and all the pipers and drummers have played at the top level in bagpiping.
