2023 was incredible…..incredibly fulfilling, incredibly exhausting, incredibly changing, and incredibly pumped with perspective.

Come on and shout a little sunshine into these Chicago gray days because I got a little gratitude dripping all over the place 😇

After a decade of hard work and dedication (cause I just want to whisper at least one more time ….🗣️that we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary 😭🍾), we've just received approval for our business trademark! 🎉 (it’s such a longgggg process 🤯….or it at least it was for me 🤷🏽‍♀️).

So I’ma need you to lean in……because we just shipped one of the Cake Designer Emergency Cake Kits to Australia & I’m feeling a Lil International 🦘🤭. (Come on with the opportunities from clear across the globe 👏🌏 🙏🏽)

I’ll close with that fact that I have FINALLY updated our new menu….and I’m in a full love affair with it 😍 (it only kept my eyes open for 612.456, 657 hours fine tuning it & I haven’t slept in over 24 hours so I’m off to take a nap 💤 ….and send me a dm if you see a grammatical error or mistake because I’m a hologram right now…..🥱

This week has been absolutely incredible. My son & dad flew in and for the past week I have been able to wake up to the smiles of the most important men in my life….ALL under one roof (HusBae, Sonshine, & my Daddy).

🍂🦃I WORKED This Thanksgiving, but overflowing with gratitude for the opportunities🍁🌟 (AND my hearts helped so although I was up for more than 24 hours working for others, we still made sure our family dinner was also had 🍽️ 🧡

It was an honor to provide hearty Thanksgiving meals for 75 hardworking and happy employees (for the 2nd year in a row for Stepan- A company that provides Innovative chemical solutions for a cleaner, healthier, more energy efficient world), ensuring they felt appreciated and celebrated during this special time of year.

A heartfelt shoutout to one of our amazing repeat client for entrusting us with the task of creating a memorable and delectable Thanksgiving dinner. Zero pictures were captured, but I’m grateful for the continued support and trust in our services nonetheless.

We also had a delightful Friendsgiving gathering! Another repeat client shut down Bar Louie in South Loop for 125 of their favorites & I’m thrilled to have contributed to the festivities with our charcuterie and desserts, adding a touch of sweetness to the cherished moments shared among friends.

When I got multiple texts that everything was “Simply Amazing”, “You are so F’ing Talented”, & “Put us on the books for desserts and your company. We will host this party every Saturday after Thanksgiving! They ate EVERYTHANG”!! my body was exhausted laid out in the middle of the floor, but my heart was full.

From our kitchen to your hearts, hoping Everyone ate well, laughed long, & loved on their peoples hard 🫶🧡🥧🍗

Owner of Simply Sweetness Food Design, for fourteen years pursued a corporate position. Producing dessert marketing for her corporate clients, helped her find a unique way to blend both worlds. She would arrive with cupcakes, cookies, and cakes with customers brands and logos and make the customers smile ear to ear with the personalized touch. Simply Sweetness continued to grow into a full scale Catering, Event Planning, & Decor company offering every component needed to create a memorable event. Fresh flowers, waitstaff, pre-poured wine, appetizers, designer desserts and more are just the scratch of the surface as to the personalized experience created for each and every event. We A.I.M. to please. AIM for us is creating amazing atmospheres, indulgent food, and mastering the memory of your event. We create an experience that allows you to be a guest at your own event.
