I am house/dog sitting this week for 2 sweet Wheaton sisters, and one sweet old Chihuahua. The Chi is 14, quite nervous, and wouldn't come within 6 ft of me for the first 2 days. I was patient with her, kept talking to her and giving her attention but plenty of space, and this morning it finally happened!!! She's perched herself on my lap and allowing me to cuddle her!!!
The three pups and I are spending some quiet time this morning watching cartoons together, and I'm just really loving being able to comfort these sweet girls while their family is away. 💛
