This sweet love is all around...
In home newborn sessions are so cozy. Mom, Dad, kids ..all get to relax in the comfort and intimacy of your home ...yes we clear away some of the unnecessary clutter but we keep other details that are specific, memorable and special to the family and to the times that we are imprinting.
And to have a very busy dad, who may not particularly love photography sessions , take the moments, snuggle up on the family bed and hold his newborn in such delight. Well, this image is priceless...

I had an artist friend tell me that the images I posted recently that have more elements such as mirroring effects, double exposure, and artificially added motion are maybe more interesting and get people's attention and are more "artful" and people see those images as something they might want to purchase.
More artful.

I did listen with an open mind,
But my heart BEAT
Louder.....in my ears....
What could be more artful than RAW MOTHERHOOD?
What could be more artful in it's primal , mortal, DIVINE, complicated and uncomplicated beauty than BIRTH????
But I will be open, I will create, I will be a portal for all that co-create with me.
I may sit at my computer during the dark days of January and add flare , wings, snakes, geometric shapes, cotton candy clouds, fake but well placed blood...it will be good for me, to stretch and see what unravels...
I will also hold space for anyone to prove my heart beat TRUE. To prove, by investing in the art AS IS, in its full Art- filled glory. That the women in the art are ENOUGH. That the co creations is ENOUGH. That womanhood and motherhood are enough.
