When I woke up Saturday and heard the news I was bitter and mad. We lost a member of the RMR family, Missoula community, and dad to some beautiful kids. While we have been estranged for a few years, I still love you. Like so many talented artist, musicians, and myself we battled some demons, addiction, and fought darkness while putting on a face of humor and big heart kindness. We were two people who didn’t take s**t especially from condescending roadies:) we were quick to blow our lids, we were quick to say some funny ass s**t. We had some epic blowouts as well as some epic times. From your first gig at the canceled black crowes show in the back of our box truck in a crazy storm to the last time Mike and I helped you load gear at the Idaho fair 2 years ago. I’ll always remember you and will do anything we can for your kids. Here’s to you, some camel 99’s, your white van, copper stone, and living life. This photo is from the good times! RIP Tonnes.
