So much happening in life right now. Just trying to keep up with this wonderful, crazy, chaotic chapter. 😅

It’s officially summer break and I am so excited to have my babies home and make all the memories! (I think I started a school countdown before they did!😅)

Currently doing huge renovations to the house! So excited and slightly overwhelmed by it all but mostly excited!

I’m can’t wait for all the sessions and families i get to hangout with this summer, it’s gonna be a great season! Plus lots of fun couples and weddings 😍

The pure innocence of childhood.. it’s truly a magic place that I wished lived on forever.

There are days my heart craves the small baby giggles, the little pitter patter of tiny, unbalanced walking feet. The little rambles or endless chatter that only mom and dad can interpret, the unprompted hugs and kisses.

Don’t get me wrong, I love getting to watch my babies grow and learn, becoming their own little humans, that I truly couldn’t be more proud of. But I think deep down, there will always be a part of my heart that craves for the young innocents of their childhood.

You know the famous quote your grandma or mom always said “the days are long but the years are short”. I don’t think I truly grasped the weight of those words, until I became a mom.

The magic of childhood is a sacred space. The intimate moments you create with your family, inside your home, those moments that build core memories. Those are the moments I want to remember forever. When you invite me into your moments,it’s a joy and honor like no other. I love getting to document your chapter and so grateful you trust me to do so.

When I send your gallery, my hope and wish is that it’s more than memorable photos. My wish is that you feel the moment in the photo, hear the little giggles, feel the endless joyful energy. That you are able to remember those little “I Wuv ooos”.

Your session isn’t just “updated family photos”. To me, your session is a collection of memories and moments, documented so you never have to worry about forgetting the beauty within the everyday chaos.

Beautiful chaos 💫

Brining home your tiny babe, whether it’s your first or 3rd, its a day you never forget.

There is so much excitement, joy, exhaustion, and a little nervousness but mostly a new found love for this tiny little human that you just met.

The first several weeks are pure bliss mixed with exhaustion. There is a lack of rest, time, and many things get pushed to the side. Yet at the exact same time, you’ve never been more in-love with someone you just met, the endless snuggles, fresh baby smell, it’s the most magical feeling. Those first several weeks are beautiful chaos.

In Home sessions are my most favorite session with a newborn, typically done within the first 5-10 days after baby makes it earth side. It’s all still so fresh, there is still the excitement (or time to adjust) for siblings, babe still sleeps all the time and is a squishy bundle. It’s also a great reason for mama to be able to shower and get prettied up. 🥰

I remember my own beautiful chaos of brining Rowan home and I’m forever grateful to have a couple photos that document that time. I feel like I remember it all so well yet it was a blur of time that happened so fast! I blinked and it was gone.

Flower Portraits 🌸

I love to be able to let go and allow my creative juices to flow and just create. Flowers and photos are two things that connect with my soul and combining both together is like a magical outlet for me.

Last year I did this fun setup to take some self portraits of myself and my kiddos but then did a couple for some friends. Since it was so fun and some of my favorite photos ever, I decided this year I would offer a couple session spots for returning clients.

The details 💫

They have always been a favorite of mine… not just the still, perfectly placed details. but the small movements that make up the details of your day. To me, there is so much life within those moments, they are small but at the same time, they aren’t. The wedding day can be so beautifully chaotic, that sometimes they almost go unnoticed to the naked eye but can hold so much power and emotion.

Details are forever changing, they aren’t the same for everyone! I LOVED that with weddings, a couple can customize the details of their day as much or as little as they want and it’s uniquely THEM.
