Had a super busy weekend photographing the Spartan Race up at Snowbasin Resort. It was long hot days but I got the shots! Some people were still happy and gave me a pose, and some people just look plain exhausted.

I can't believe that Rodeo season is getting ready to start over next month. Well, on Aug 17th, I will be heading to the UHSRA So. Summit rodeo and I'm bringing along another photographer so we can cover more events.

Today Jason McKinney signed his Letter of Intent for Nobel University in Buena Park, CA. I know he will be missed here in Moab but I do wish him the best in the coming years at college. Also those cool teeth will take you far! LOL

4 exciting days of family fun kicking off on Thursday, July 4th with the 4th of July Parade down 400 E. at 9am. Days of exciting activities at the Old Spanish Trail arena to include Power Wheels Derby, RC Obstacle Course, Fire Trucks, Eating Contest, Co****le Tournament, Relay Games, Volleyball Tournament, Roller Derby, Softball Tournment, City of Moab Arts and Ag Market, Car & Tractor Show, Movie Under the Stars, with back to back nights of Rodeo Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th. Live music concerts following the Rodeos with Utah's Kaleb Austin performing Friday and Saturday's headliner is a last minute surprise!

This past Friday the Moab Free Concert Series kicked off their first concert this year. The opener, Sunflood Band started off the evening with some jammin tunes. Next up was Terrance Simien & The Zydeco Experience and they never stopped playing until the end and the crowds were loving it and having a great time. The next concert is July 19th. Come on out and have a great time!Here are just a few photos from the evening.

My last gallery from the WNFC Western Conference Playoffs has finally been posted! This game was between Texas Elite Women's Football and San Diego Rebellion
It was a pretty exciting game, especially in the second half.
Already looking forward to next season since I won't be traveling to Frisco for the Championship.

I finally have all of my photos from the football games in the Western Conference edited and in the galleries. It was just a couple of degrees cooler on Friday but I was happy that it was. Enjoy the photos.

Another great matchup in the second game in the WNFC Western Conference Playoffs. Denver Bandits and San Diego Rebellion faced off. I'm sure the players were happy that it cooled off for the evening game. I know I was! LOL

These two teams, Texas Elite Women's Football and Seattle Majestics went head to head in the first game of the WNFC Western Conference Playoffs. Yesterday afternoon the WNFC Flag had their inaugural flag games in the WNFC in the western conference. Lots of action happening all at once. 4 games for 3 rounds and 2 games in the semi-final rounds which decided which teams that would face off later today.

Spending the weekend here in Las Vegas taking photos at the WNFC Western Conference playoffs. Today Texas Elite Women's Football faced off against Seattle Majestics in the first game and San Diego Rebellion faced off against Denver Bandits in the second game. I have a lot of photos to process but here is a teaser from the first game.

Well I got tricked today covering the Grand County School District “End of year” celebration. I thought that I would only be taking photos of people and awards that they received. Well I ended up being one of those people that received an award “2024 Friend of Education” for the photos and coverage that I provide both in photos and in Moab Sun News paper.
Thank you to Janae James Packard for submitting me for this and to Grand County School District for selecting me. This is a proud moment in my life, and the satisfaction that I feel to give back when I can.
