🎂Would it surprise you to know I am not the biggest fan of hosting birthday parties?!

💙Don’t get me wrong - - I love celebrating my people. I love friends gathering. I love family lovingly watching from the side lines. I am simply overwhelmed by the idea of a party.

💙This year we decided to do it big for my middle son’s 6th birthday. It was his first time having all of his friends from all different avenues at his house to celebrate him. When I tell you it was magical… I can’t really get over how perfect his day was!

💙I say all of this to remind you (but mostly myself) that birthday parties are worth it.
