The forecast had called for rain all week but thankfully it fell in the early morning and we had great weather for Cameron and Patrick's wedding day. They made my job so easy. I could immediately tell Patrick is one of the kindest people you will meet and Cameron's energy, smile and joy just glowed. Once they had their first look all I had to do was watch them together and shoot. Congratulations to the newest Boltons!

If you are a boy mom, you know that often when they agree to do senior portraits or professional photos of any kind, it's because they are a good son who is doing it for you...ok maybe you had to force them. Anyway we pretty much told my cousin we were taking his photos on the family land when he came to Alabama over Christmas. He had a lot of his own ideas as you can see but that's fine. It shows who he is at 18 and some remind so much of his dad.

I cannot thank my clients and families enough for a successful day of mini shoots on a rainy day. The morning was ok but rain, rain, rain in the afternoon and yet everyone braved it anyway! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I will be spending a little more time editing out raindrops but here is a quick preview. And thank you David and Melia for holding the umbrella over me and the camera as I stepped off the porch to shoot!

The last few weeks have been full of weddings! Congratulations to the Putmans! Anna and Michael had a beautiful, intimate wedding with family at Little Point Clear with a reception the next day at the Carnival Museum. Their timeless, elegant and easy going style made for a perfect wedding weekend.

I am soooo behind on posting mainly because I haven't slowed down (until this beach week coming up.....maybe somewhat....I'll try). I couldn't resist sharing this summer fun in the country though! Can't decide if the sibling pic or bubbles are my fav but both had fun running free in the orchard!
