Congratulations Laykan and Allen. Every wedding has it's special details and moments but I love the Laykan chose to wear her mom's wedding dress with a few touches of her own. Also thanks again for having Melia walking around singing Sold!
This tiny little one is the sweetest. It's always fun to shoot the baby bump photos then meet these babies when they arrive and a bonus to see my wedding couples start and grow their families!

It has been a summer of babies and what could be sweeter. This precious girl was perfect for her shoot with wide eyes at times and naps at others. So nice to meet you Mary Claire!
I will never get enough of Dauphin Island shoots and I love meeting people who love this place like I do. How gorgeous is this mama who gets to meet her baby boy in a few weeks!

I am soooo behind on posting mainly because I haven't slowed down (until this beach week coming up.....maybe somewhat....I'll try). I couldn't resist sharing this summer fun in the country though! Can't decide if the sibling pic or bubbles are my fav but both had fun running free in the orchard!
As I have said before, I love working with seniors. Maybe more so when they are athletes and we get to go on the field. Congratulations Class of 24!
Such a pleasure to meet this family. These kiddos did great. We ended with a little silliness and gummies but shouldn't it be that way? Photo shoots should be fun.
What a fun rehearsal dinner for Ansley Tarlton and Scott at Little Point Clear. The cutest details included their dogs, a toast with props and a spelling lesson... K-U-H-L-K-E. Here are a few highlights:

Spring is here which means weddings and SENIORS! (and families and headshots and all the other things I have worked on this week). I love these sessions and Chasity made this one so easy. Younger sis was also in on some and helped as prop master picking bouquets of wildflowers for an extra touch.
Congratulations to the Kuhlkes! I have been looking forward to Ansley and Scott's wedding and what an honor to work with the Tarlton family again. The bridesmaids and their dresses...perfection along with the fabulous weather, friends, family, and fun especially when Scott took the stage for a bit. It was a fun day for me personally to see 3 previous OFD brides/couples too! Best wishes Ansley and Scott. Yes I have double checked the spelling of Kuhlke multiple times before posting!
One of my absolute favorite things to do is take senior portraits and working with Hannah yesterday just reinforces that. Yesterday was a little chilly especially at sunset but we got it done! Fun Fact (even though it shows my age) I shot Hannah's parent's wedding! Blessed that after all these years I still love what I do.
How I feel about my new backdrop!
My niece Ansley called me a few days before her best friend's wedding to ask a few questions because she wanted the day to be perfect. I told her everything won't go exactly as planned but it will be a perfect day. Between a few forgotten items and steamers setting off fire alarms there were a few unplanned moments but when a couple is focused on love and faith as Anna & Tyler are, it was perfect. From the sweet prayer during there first touch to their precious vows and the love of supporting families I can't imagine a better day. Congratulations Anna Faith Martinez and Tyler!
Spring wedding season began this weekend with the best weather and this intimate wedding at a privately owned property full of horses and pastures and a cat that wanted to be in on the photos. Bre was a beautiful bride but how she walked in those shoes I will never know!
High fives with mom, snuggles with dad and a happy, handsome 1 year old wearing his dad's baby outfit made by his grandmother. Doesn't get much better.
I love what I do and had the best time with Anna Faith Martin and Tyler. Tyler thought we were tricking him into exercising by hiking around Dauphin Island but it so worth it.

What a gorgeous fall wedding for Haley and Purnell. The weather turned out perfectly and Haley's colors were spot on! Tru stole the show greeting everyone as she walked the aisle and her mama wouldn't have it any other way. I love when fur babies are a part of wedding day!

And here is another 1 year old. Love these big brown eyes. This was our first photoshoot and she absolutely nailed it!
It has been a busy weekend with all these precious babies. Look at this cutie who is about to turn 1! She loved the tulip chair so much I thought I may have to send it home with her. That's ok she has her own now. Family is the best!
Congratulations to Brandon and Mae! There is just something about Pensacola Beach and that aqua water that makes the perfect wedding backdrop!

Fun in the Sun(flowers)! This angel told me all about how God planted the first sunflower field and left us the seeds to plant more. She loves her sunflowers and was very dismayed when her little cousin thought they looked better without petals. No problem. There are plenty replacements. Sorry you couldn't be there Meredith Daniel Wadkins!
