It was a night of big returns and even bigger debut’s at the Bullet Bob Armstrong Memorial Arena for our most recent taping of DCW Synergy.
Buzzsaw Benelli showed just what type of competitor he was when he challenged, not a trained wrestler, but a young member of our ring crew that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. However, they say it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that counts. “The Kid” was able to score an upset victory over the former Diamond Destiny Champion, leaving the DCW fans and Buzzsaw Benelli in shock.
Binky Jordan made his debut against the monster Bodhi O’ Hara. After a hard fought match, Binky walked away with his first victory in a DCW ring.
One of the young rising stars of DCW, Donald Blake, took on a returning Mr. Smackems in a hard hitting match. In the end, Blake was able to pick up the victory with the Alabama Slam.
A debuting Flex Cannon took on former Diamond Destiny Champion MT2 is his return after a near 2 year absence from DCW. Flex showed MT2 and the DCW fans just why he walks around with a chip on his shoulder. He made quick work of the veteran, leaving no question in anyone’s mind that Flex Cannon is not a man to be messed with.
Current Diamond Destiny Champion Jack Passion had his first title defense against Lash LaFlair. The fans were on the edge of their seats with both men trading explosive offense, but the Hidden Gems decided to make their presence felt yet again when they stormed through the venue’s front doors. They jumped the barricades and entered the ring, attacking both men before MacDaddyDuds came out to make a save for his new tag team partner in Lash LaFlair. The good guys made quick work of the Gems and the match ended in a no contest due to outside interference, thus Jack Passion retained his championship.
Fresh off his controversial win against Ryan Razors in a TLC match, a cocky and confident Liam Chulainn took on Doc Silver one on one. The mind games continue from Ryan Razors, and Doc was able to capitalize and take out Liam with a spear to secure the victory.
We had yet another debut at the Bullet, as young Crusher Cottrell took on Hunter Hendrix. The fans were firmly behind the 18 year old sensation, and Crusher took the victory after delivering his Crushing Lariat to Hendrix.
DCW Women’s Champion Syd Silver had her hands full against “The Game Master” Tsunami. While Tsunami may have brought the mind games, Syd took control and was able to pick up the victory in this non title matchup.
Finally, Carnage Club, made up of Jay Carter and Matty Ice, made their official DCW debut as a tag team against the newly formed tag team of MacDaddyDuds and Lash LaFlair - Da Realest Playas. After a back and forth matchup, Da Realest Playas showed the world exactly what being a Playa Hater is all about, as they picked up the victory against the Carnage Club.
With so many new and returning faces, we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen on August 23 for our next addition of Synergy!!!
We can’t wait to see you there!
