People often ask me how I’m still so excited about filming weddings after 7 years. Honestly? It never gets old. There’s nothing like knowing I’m capturing a moment that will live on forever. Moments that future generations will one day watch 50 years from now.
Here’s the truth: wedding filmmaking isn’t just about cameras and lenses. That’s maybe 25% of it. The rest is about people. It’s about understanding that weddings are emotional, sometimes stressful, and always deeply meaningful. Families pour years into this one day, and for many of them, it’s the only time everyone they love will be in the same room together.
After filming 100+ weddings, I’ve learned to recognize the weight of that. To me, it’s more than just a job. It’s stepping into a family’s story and helping them feel present in the moments that matter most.
Because a wedding isn’t just a day. It’s a lifetime of decisions, love, and memories colliding into one unforgettable celebration. And my role? To preserve that magic forever.
That’s why I keep coming back. Every wedding is once-in-a-lifetime, and I’m honored every time I get to press record.
