•c + l decided not to do a first look and i’m so glad they did! i love when my couples keep it traditional and decide they want to first see each other at the altar. some tips i have for you:
-designate a point person to be with each person, so they can always check corners and make sure the other is not around so you’re not accidentally seen!
-stagger your arrival time to the venue! this is always in my timelines, and i always have the point person text me or call me when they are on their way.
-if you’re at the altar first, stand with your back facing the aisle. when your future spouse gets the the end of the aisle, have your officiant or someone standing up with you tap your shoulder to turn around. i rehearse this with all of my couples if they choose to go this route, and it always makes for the best reactions (just like this one) 🫶🏻•

•i care deeply about the little details! all of the time spent focusing on your personalized details and the thought behind them should be celebrated. whether it’s taking the time to plan and design the details with you during the planning process, or making sure items are placed in exactly the right spot on the wedding day, you can be certain i will handle with care. they add so much to your day and are a big part of bringing personalization to your celebration 🤍•

•i always say: if i’m on time i’m late.
if you are in the wedding party or a part of the ceremony, please be on time! i promise to keep things short and sweet, and definitely not boring! rehearsals can be fun but it’s important that I have everyone there! it may seem like a small thing, but trust me: it will be nice to know what you’re doing on the wedding day ahead of time - even if i will be there to guide you. so, please respect everyone’s time, especially the bride and groom’s, and arrive on time (or maybe a little early) ☺️•
•you just got engaged! now what?
things can get real overwhelming, real fast. and while dreaming up details are fun (they’re my favorite part 😉), you’re still left wondering how to pull things together. first things first: choose your ideal date (or a timeframe). you want to make sure all of your people are able to be there with you! second? hire a planner. we’ll save you your sanity, and help you plan for every moment of your day (including a very special first look, just like this one 🧡). i’m here to help whenever you’re ready!•
