**Easter Flowers!**
We will have Easter posies at on Friday and a few on Saturday of this week. They are first come first served so make sure you stop by early to snag one. They are $15 each and make the perfect little hostess gift or centerpiece. We’ll see you there!

Here’s a look at this year’s Valentine’s Day flowers with our littlest valentine! 💘

This year we will be selling Valentine’s Day Posies at . We will have them there Wednesday morning and we’ll be selling them for $15 a posie. We’ll see you there!

We’ve gotten over 2 inches of rain in the past few days so it’s been pretty dreary over here. Definitely missing rose season right about now!

Blumen Flower Farm was a small hobby I started my freshman year of college. At 17, I decided that it seemed like a fun way to spend my time and a good way to make a little money while I was in school.

I started by growing a variety of cut flowers and sold at farmers markets but over the first 3 years, realized I had more of a passion for roses and enjoyed the idea of having a permanent crop.

I learned so much those first few years but after a lot of thought and consideration, my mom happily decided to join me and we switched over to growing all roses! We now have around 1,800 garden roses and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. It’s been so fun to look back on the past 7 years and see how much has changed.

The Blumen version of Where’s Waldo! It’s crazy how much the roses grow during the season. Francis Meilland is our biggest variety and this is what looks like before we prune it back.

It’s the most difficult to prune and we always say we’re going to start with it but somehow it always ends up being the last variety to get pruned. Funny how that happens. 😉

With the start of a New Year, we wanted to introduce ourselves to all of you!

We are Sandi and Abi, the people behind Blumen Flower Farm. We are a mother daughter duo and feel so lucky to get to spend every day working together. We’ve been business partners for almost 4 years now and it’s been one of our proudest accomplishments.

The two of us are the ones that cut and process the roses, prune, deadhead w**d and everything in between. Being a flower farmer isn’t always as dreamy as the pictures may seem but we love to enjoy being outside and looking out at what we grow is very rewarding.

When you message us or talk to one of us here on Instagram, you’re more than likely talking to Abi! I take care of orders and social media and my mom is the one you’ll most likely see when you pick up! She’s also the one that handles the garden management and decides which projects we need to tackle each day.

We’re so thankful you choose to follow along with our little business and please don’t ever hesitate to reach out with any questions!

2023 season was one for the books! This week is the last week of roses for the year. We’ll have bouquets at this week and then transition into holiday goods through December. Thank you to everyone who supported us and bought from us, we always feel so grateful for you and love watching you create beautiful things with our roses. Until next year. 💛

We have some exciting news we’ve been dying to share! Our flowers will be sold at new place Ambiente starting on TUESDAY! We can’t wait for you to be able to get your hands on our roses every Tuesday-Saturday. See you Tuesday! 💛
