Wednesday 4/22, we're delivering our delicious CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP and LORRAINE'S CLASSIC STUFFED PEPPERS.

Soup is always $9.00 a quart. When we offer specials that are not soup, we have to price them accordingly. The Stuffed Peppers are $10. To order, email us back at [email protected], telling us how many quarts you want (2 quart minimum) and the address we are delivering to, including the zip code. The price per Quart is $9.00. You can also call in your order 914.920.1285. We ask that orders are in by 9PM, Sunday 4/19.

This week's selections: CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP; delicious Chicken Stock with plenty of dark and white meat, carrots, onions, celery and a mixture of wild rice, long grain brown rice, wehani and black japonica rice. LORRAINE'S CLASSIC STUFFED PEPPERS. Red and Green peppers cut in half and stuffed (stuffed is an understatement, they are overflowing) with chopped meat and rice, fresh onion, garlic and Lorraine's secret blend of seasonings and covered with her homemade tomato sauce. There are 2 half peppers per order and it's a complete meal.

Our soups are all natural with no additives, preservatives or high amounts of sodium. Both choices are gluten free, made fresh the day before and perfect for freezing. Thanks to everyone who came out to The Landing Thursday night to show your support and taste our soups. We had a great time and unbeknownst to us, someone very special was there, undercover and it was Santa! Not only did he "like" us on Facebook, he took 4 quarts back to the North Pole and called the next day to tell us that the Yukon Gold Potato and Bacon was such a hit with the elves, they named the newest reindeer "Yukon".

This week is jammed with commitments for everyone including us. We have a holiday catering event so for Christmas week only, we will be delivering 1 kind of soup, not 2. Next week we will have 2 varieties again.

Our super, Smokey Tomato and Bacon Bisque*. This is the first time we're delivering this delicious, creamy and savory soup. It's the perfect color for the season and it's served with Lorraine's amazing homemade croutons. Those of you, who've tasted them know why people call them the eighth wonder of the world.

Here's what we are delivering on Thursday, 12/11

Get ready for a Split Pea and Ham Soup that will thrill and fill you. A thick and smoky blend of split peas, carrots, celery and Smithfield Ham with a dash of onion and natural herbs plus a hearty helping of Lorrain's own large, hand cut, herb crusted croutons (on the side, of course). You don't want to miss this one.

And from Lorraine's culinary heritage, Rustic Italian Tortellini Soup. A perfect blend of sausage, onion, diced tomato, garlic and fresh basil, in a hearty, healthy chicken broth loaded with delicious handmade cheese tortellini. It's like a visit to Tuscany delivered to your door. Both soups are all natural with no additives, low in sodium and made fresh the day before.

Quarts are $10.00. In oder to receive a delivery, you have to purchase 2 quarts -- they do not have to be the same flavor. There is a delivery fee of $2.00, making the total bill for 2 quarts, $22.00.

Soup Tips: Because our soups are all natural (no additives what so ever). they may separate in the refrigerator; especially bisques and cream based soups. Give them a good stir before cooking or putting in the microwave. If you're planning to freeze the soup, do it soon after it's delivered. This keeps the flavor intact and helps stop it from separating.

This week we will be delivering on Thursday, 12/04

Lorraine's famous Escarole and Bean Soup. A delectable blend of fresh escarole, cannellini beans, light garlic and fresh herbs in a flavorful chicken broth infused with smoked ham hocks. I'd say "Mmm, Mmm, good" but I think that might be trademarked.

Hearty Beef Barley Soup. Cubed top round steak and barley with fresh carrots, peas, onions and celery in a hearty beef broth. A full course meal you eat with a spoon. This one sticks to your ribs.
