ℹ️The Shiloah Farms Estate began from the love of Henry and Glenda Amos. Henry and Glenda acquired the property in the early 1980s along with additional acreage surrounding the estate and planted the Pecan Orchards you see today. Currently, there are over 50 acres in pecan production. It was the love of the country life that lead the Amos’ to build the current 6,500 square foot 5 bedroom 3 bath home that exists today.
Henry was a Louisiana native and poured his heart and heritage into the construction of the home, which is reflected in its New Orleans style and influence, with its ornamental ironworks, solid reclaimed wood flooring, and doors, Outdoor courtyards, and formal gardens. The Amos’s raised their family here on the estate and eventually sold the estate in 2017.
The Estate was acquired by Russ and Sandra Crosby who shared a love for the country and an appreciation for the estate's beauty. Upon acquiring the estate Russ placed the pecan orchards into production and began updating the estate. Unfortunately, Russ passed away unexpectedly a short time later but not before he and Sandra named the estate “Shiloah Farms” meaning "Place of Peace." Russ will always be remembered for his love of the estate and would want the public to enjoy its beauty as well. Therefore, the family has now opened the 72 acre estate to the public for the first time, as a premier wedding and event venue. The public now has the opportunity to lease the venue in whole or part for their special events or occasions.
