When every single event & party shut down in March 2020 it tried to break us. We missed painting, we missed the children, we missed all the fun of special events... we stayed home, we practiced and we learned new things...and we hoped while we waited...

Busy event at Kiawah Island Club! These two were too cute!

Turned out to be a beautiful day at the Elloree Trials! Our tent was right beside some beautiful horses and we could see a bit of the racing across from us but the best part was all the terrific kids we got to paint!

Sorry its been pretty quiet around here , but on Oct 25th I (Ms Kathy) had reverse shoulder replacent surgery on my right arm ( yes, I am right handed) and recovery has been oh so very slow! I have a terrific PT who tells me I’m doing well but I miss being able to facepaint!
My surgeon said to expect to be unable to work for 3-4 months so I am looking forward to seeing everyone again by spring!

In the meantime, we do have limited availability with my wonderful team of face painters and glitter tattoo artists so let me know what you need and I will see what we can do to help make your next event extra special!

Healing after my total reverse shoulder replacement is going soooo slow! Worst part is not being able to do what I love best- creative arts! The good news is that after a year of debilitating pain I have a new shoulder and on the long road of recovery.
Cant wait to try some of these to dye papers!

Our Story

Carolina Party Artists have been offering our Face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting for parties and special events in the greater Charleston,SC area for over 10 years.

Now due to the Covid-19 situation, we have found ourselves needing to PIVOT our business since ALL parties and events with lots of guests have been cancelled. So...we are now offering Art-Kits-To-Go, Online Paint Parties and In Person Parties will start with small groups as soon as it is safe to do so!

We DO hope to be able to offer our original party services again but at this time we dare not event guess when that will happen.

We truly appreciate the support and encouragement of our clients and friends during these challenging and very uncertain times. We pray you stay safe, healthy and find joy every day!
