Believed to be the only Turner (gymnast) Hall of Swiss origin left in the United States, the present building is listed on the National & State Registers of Historic Places. Its authentically Old World interior houses many irreplaceable paintings and Swiss artifacts as well as exemplary examples of Bauernmalerei (Swiss folk painting.) The building houses a Ratskeller Restaurant, featuring Swiss an

d American cuisine; a Grand Hall for performances, dances and event rentals; and a small 8-lane, family-friendly bowling facility. Turner Hall also produces the Swiss Heritage Series, an annual line-up of unique public performances and events.

We appreciate each opportunity we are given to provide service for every special moment. If you are planning an event, our event coordinator would love to talk about your needs & all that Turner Hall can provide. The Grand Hall can be used for celebrations of many types…whether it be a wedding reception / ceremony, reunions, milestone birthdays, corporate event, celebration of life, or other family/ gatherings. The Ratskeller is available for smaller events & full or partial service catering is available to location of your choice.

Ring in the new year this Saturday with the Ringing Badgers Handbell Ensemble - "Sounds of the Season!"

$30 advance sale tickets END Saturday, April 6 at 8 pm. $35 at the door on April 11. A great performance awaits!

21st Annual Christkindlmarkt! November 24-25, 9 am - 4 pm in the Grand Hall. All quality handmade items, including Swiss folk arts like chip-carving, decorative painting, and scissor cuttings. Something for everyone and affordable price ranges! Free admission.

The annual Kiwanis dinner meeting this evening included entertainment by the Union Presbyterian Church Drum Ensemble. The meal included the popular pork Schnitzel & Rösti potatoes.

Take a peek at some of the many items you will find at Turner Hall's 20TH CHRISTKINDLMARKT, Friday-Saturday, November 25-26, from 9 am to 4 pm. (Turn on your sound to hear the lovely German carol with this mini-video!) 1217-17th Avenue; Monroe, WI; two blocks south of the downtown Square.

Alphornists Heinz Mattmann and George Albright, and flag-thrower, Steve Streiff, kicked off the program portion of the social hour.
