Wishing the best to all affected by the fires in Oakridge, Oregon, as we canceled the Sasquatch Duro this Saturday with an email to all riders Wednesday evening. This was route #2 from our original route that was closed for the Umpqua portion and closure. Let's hope August is cooler, and we get some rain. Thank you all for the support of our family business! Thank you too all the firefighters coming to Oakridge to battle the fires and keep things in check as much as possible.

New Fun Event in support of Bike Park 242 in Sisters the day before the Sisters Stampede on Saturday, May 25th, for Kids 10 and under at the Rascal Round-Up 2-4pm.

Since 2003, we have organized events under the Mudslinger Events banner. Going back to 1991, when I first organized events, this past weekend was the wettest and coldest ever for a weekend of events. Some pics are below from the Oregon Coast Gravel Epic! The average temperature is 58, and we did not come close!

Sure, we occasionally have a snowy Mudslinger in late March or early April, but that's 20 miles of mountain biking! Yes, the Test of Endurance 2007 was nuts! Yes, two years ago, that 3 hrs and half an inch was crazy at this same event!
This year, there were 2.1 inches of rain over 2 days, and the temperature was 13 degrees cooler than normal. Well done to all who attended and special props to all who dressed for success or finished and found out what worked and what could be added to the gear bag.

Enjoy the sunny weather ahead, and a special shout out to Bonk Collective Sam Haines for the Ham Radio support and sag on both days, saving nine riders on day two! Thank you, my friend. Oregon Coast Bank HAMMER NUTRITION

We could call it a three-peat, with the Beach Bike and Blues festival also happening Saturday in Waldport from 12 to 7 p.m. for your friends and family to check out while we are grinding away in the Siuslaw National Forest!
The day after, Sunday is 9 miles south on the 101 at West Coast Gravel out of Yachats. Good times are ahead.

Mudslinger front of the pack for the day with Robert Cummings first up the stair step climb, followed by Felipe Nystrom and Sean Cory!
