In Loving Memory of Aunt Marge

At Lokay Lanes, family has always been at the heart of what we do – and Aunt Marge was a big part of that heart. Her passing leaves an empty space that can never truly be filled, but her memory and spirit will continue to live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.

Aunt Marge wasn’t just family – she was part of the foundation. She carried the stories of the LaCivita family, sharing them with pride and love. Through her, we felt connected to those who came before us, especially Lucille – her sister and our grandmother. Aunt Marge had a way of making the past feel present, painting vivid pictures of the people and moments that shaped our family.

As many know, the Lokay family – along with many of our current employees and bowlers – got their start at North Versailles Bowl. Aunt Marge spent more than 20 years working the snack bar there, following in the footsteps of her sister Josephine, our Aunt Jo. Though she was our blood, she became family to so many more. To know her was to love her. Her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for family created a ripple effect that touched everyone who met her.

We are grateful that many of you – our extended family of bowlers and friends – had the chance to know Aunt Marge over the years. Her legacy lives on in the memories we share and the stories we’ll continue to tell, just as she did.

We imagine Aunt Marge now, reunited with her siblings, laughing and making new memories. And we look forward to the day when we’ll hear those stories too.

Thank you for being part of our family and for keeping Aunt Marge’s spirit alive with us.
