One of my BFFs was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and I can't just do nothing. it only takes a couple of seconds to potentially save a life.

Obligatory late bday post.

Jae, next to meeting mommy who helped create you, you are the best thing that's happened to me.

Happy Bday Son. You make me proud everyday.

People weren't lying when they said take more pictures because the days are long but the years are fast. Where did the time go!?!?!

I love watching you sit there and judge... I mean observe and learn.

Other Things I enjoy:

- Watching your Little fingers fiddle with things not fully in control of your tiny body yet.

- How you evolved from wiping everything off the tray, to completely missing your mouth, to getting the spoon in your mouth but watching all the food fall off just before it gets there.

- Seeing you stand up, watching your little toes try to dig into the floor while you are learning how to stabilize yourself.

- The joy on your face when it's bath time.

- how you immediately after your bath when i put you in your crib, You lie face down on your belly and hide under the covers in complete stillness and silence enjoying the warmth of the blanket like it's the best thing in the world.

- Smelling your little clammy baby feet, lint and all.

With Wifey in Seattle, this is the first week we've taken Baby to Daycare. He's got my FOMO and just eants to keep paying with the other babies and has trouble napping so he is overstimulated and hella exhausted when we get home so he throws a fit.

Wifey had a great idea to drive around and let baby nap.

One thing I miss about NY is taking public Transit on a Fri/Sat especially on a holiday like Halloween. In a city full of people, it can feel so lonely. I loved sitting and people watching. So many lives interconnected, intertwined, and yet so distant. Happy faces, smiles that also hid anxiety or stress. costumes on Halloween, Rainbows and pixie wings for pride, Drunk Santas during Xmas. Was it SHOWTIME!?!?

You had people tired still in their work uniform at an end of their long week. Cops, Muni Workers, Nurses on their way to start their graveyard shift. What kind of day did they have? What kind of night did they have ahead of them? Would someone end up in the ER to be taken care of by the person next to them?

Will the tourists make the mistake of making eye contact with the mentally ill person only wearing one shoe? So much talent on the platform, future American Idols. Even more talent sliding upside down across the roof rails or singing a capella between stops.

You had families taking up too much space, and families just trying to survive and exist.
Too hot, a buffet of smells in the summer. Shelter from the frigid weather or hurricane downpour. I always wondered what kind of life were they living that brought them to the same car in that moment.

I hope everyone will get to have a memorable subway experience.

Day 1 of X.

Baby step by baby step its a long road ahead.

Goal: Be a healthy role model for baby boy.

1st challenge, Shed the 40+ lbs of covid fat weight and Live a healthy lifestyle.

3lbs a week? Just in time for the Holiday buffet!

Got Covid the same day as Tom Hanks 3.11.2020 and body hasn't been the same since. Absolutely no energy or strength to push, and my joints hurt, lungs burn with any extraneous activities. Gotta love the new 40.... ha!

Thanks to all my Fam/friends out there changing their lives in different ways to inspire me. Keep it up.
