Hello everyone! Welcome to Mini Music!!!
My name is Kellie Wyatt aka “Ms. Kellie.” I created Mini Music-an early childhood music education program in spring of 2021. I was able to launch the program in the following fall with the help of Parnell Memorial Library and the funding from the Parnell Memorial Library Foundation .
Mini Music’s curriculum is based on the National Association for Music Education’s general music standards for pre-school aged children.
This program combines scarf dancing with age appropriate musical instruments to strengthen early literacy skills as well as the gross and fine motor skills.
Mini Music has been in libraries all over Shelby County, AL and I am looking for more locations to add to my schedule. If you are a library, educational institution, community center or simply a mom who would like to provide party entertainment to some busy kiddos, I can help!
