On Friday, August 23, 2024, we joined our partners, GreenSky Givess for their Veteran Outreach event at the Tucker Center. They provided essential information to veterans plus veterans who are either starting out or looking to expand in farming.

Fortitude was thrilled to share details about the 1890 Scholars Program and career opportunities in agriculture through USDA NRCS. The scholarship and career opportunities gained significant interest to the moms, dads and grandparents in the room.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an additional outreach/workshop on Friday, September 13, 2024, to dive deeper into these Scholarship and Career opportunities.

Happy Earth Day! Today, the Fort & the Farm brought the joy of gardening to Mrs. Tucker's scholars at McKee Pre-K Center. We talked about watering our plants and giving them sunlight.
