We at Flowers by Amanda want to wish our past, present, and future clients a very merry and blessed Christmas!! As we prepare for our last events of the year, we are looking forward to 2025, our 25th year in business!

On a personal note…..In reflecting upon this past year, 2024 has been full of challenges outside of weddings and events that have taken me away from posting to social media as often as I normally like. They have also caused my response time to new clients to suffer. My usual excellent customer service to new clients has been put on a backburner to other important priorities and sometimes, my mental health. Burnout is a real thing, and you can’t work 2 full-time careers simultaneously for 25 years and expect it to never happen. To any new clients who I let down because of this, I truly apologize! To those who have been patient and understanding about these struggles and have been willing to wait for consultations and quotes…. Thank you!! I promise you that it will be worth the wait!! Our response time may be slower than normal but there has not been, nor will there ever be a minute when we drop the ball on a wedding or event!! Designing flowers and creating beautiful moments is my and my team’s passion and that will never fade!

We look forward to 2025 and hearing from all of the newly engaged brides! Please know that we are taking on new clients and we are ready to rock the new year! Merry Christmas!!!

On the early morning of May 17th, the day after my birthday, and the day before two big weddings, I unexpectedly lost my sweet mother who had long suffered from a muscle deteriorating disease. Though her muscles had slowly wasted away over the last 17 years, we did not expect her to leave us so suddenly. Though this was one of the hardest days of my life, we still had to make sure that our two brides had one of the best days of their lives. I want to thank my crew that day for all they did to make sure that both events were executed perfectly and for helping me get through one of the hardest weekends of my life.

We loved working with this sweet bride and her mama to plan the flowers for her big day at one of our favorite new venues… The Whippoorwill Venue in Matthews Alabama!

We are trying to play a little catch-up over the next several days and post pics of some of our recent weddings that we just have not had the chance to post yet because we have been so busy!!
On this day a few weeks ago, we were honored to provide classic blue and white florals at two of our favorite venues (The Chapel at The Waters and New Water Farms) for two very sweet brides that had the same color scheme but very different taste in how that color scheme was executed!

When you wake up to sweet messages from both of your brides from the day before after having a crazy busy weekend trying to beautifully execute two weddings and fulfill mommy duties… it makes it all worth it!! Two happy brides and a happy daughter! My cup runs over!
