The Mud Maid is a living sculpture by Sue Hill at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall, UK.
Depending on the season, the mud maid’s ‘hair’ and ‘clothes’ change when the seasonal plants and moss grow over the sculpture. 🤍🌿

Xanadu Florida is officially ours free and clear!!! We now have burner owned land for our north Florida regional! We will not have some owner/city raising our rent because they think we are making money when people show up to our burn. When we set out to find land it was because we felt that people never understood that burns are non profit, that we give back most of the money to support art, in and around the community. This is one thing that won't be able to be used to deter us. Can't wait to see you all at Fuego De Mayo to celebrate 🥳

PS if you know anyone who may want to rent the land for an event, reenactment, Renaissance festival, art festival, weddings, fundraisers, etc.... Rental fees are asked to be donated directly to Florida en Fuego .org to go back into our Burn. That was another reason for buying, so we could use the land as the fundraiser instead of ticket sales to fund art.
