Love is oh so sweet 🩷🧁

Part of our rental inventory includes several options for signage (many clear acrylic like this sign), cake platters, dessert trays, and dessert tiers! Partial and Full Planning already include a rental allowance, or just inquire about renting some items from us and we will include it alongside your coordination services.

We love setting up your dessert display to be welcoming and fit in with your decor theme- and don't worry, we will make sure to get you extra plates and a setup made if you're doing a private cake cutting too 😉

We don't highlight the Mother's as much as we should... for both Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom, there are several ways to include them and make them feel extra special on your Wedding Day! 🩷

Mom's can:
-Help you get dressed or pin on your boutonniere
-Have a first look with Bride or Groom
-Be the flower girl or get escorted down the aisle
-Sign the Marriage License
-Give the Welcome Announcement or prayer before Dinner
-Bake your Wedding Cake or other dessert
-Give a Speech
-First Dance / Anniversary Dance

Don't forget you can also give your mom a sweet gift or momento to remember the day, repurpose one of her wedding accessories or gown, share her Wedding photo, or use another memory item from her Wedding 😊 So many meaningful ways to say thank you and include Mom in the big day!

Having the kiddos part of your wedding day is such a fun piece our team looks forward too- for the most part, they are just as excited to walk down the aisle as you! Sometimes a little over eager, sometimes a little nervous, but no matter what they know they are so loved and so special as a part of your big day!

They are saying I DO at the beautiful venue up in Alexandria- and I am so thankful for my team of assistants to support them today!

They are going to be surrounded by friends and family celebrating them today, with 22 of their nearest and dearest in their Wedding Party! Another highlight we are looking forward to is their sweet First Dance outside on the patio before dinner is underway 😊

A new Couple's Announcement! 🩷

I am thrilled to welcome Christa & Colin to the Cherished Family and can't wait for their beautiful Winter Wedding! ❄️

Fun Facts about them: Christa is a nurse and Colin is in Sports Statistics- they also have two cats named Mickey and Archie!

When getting married in December, why not highlight the cozy colors and themes of such a beautiful time of year?! They will be getting married at the .mn focusing on a deep and warm atmosphere including christmas trees, with highlights of gold and the bridesmaids in a dark cabernet velvet - I can picture it already ♥️

I am looking forward to the planning process together- enjoy every moment of it 😊

Every once in a while we have to share some of our favorite details photos ✨️ sometimes including the special keepsakes from multiple generations.

Great options are to include handkerchiefs, jewelry, or keepsake trinkets from your grandparents and parents!
Another popular option is to have your florist tie a piece of jewelry or heirloom brooch on to your bridal Bouquet- all are sweet ways to keep your family members and memories close to you on your Wedding Day 😊

It has been ages since we have shared a Friday Faves! So today, it's time to feature the beautiful Nicollet Island Pavilion as a venue I highly recommend you make a visit and consider it for your wedding! 🩷

It is a gorgeous venue (especially now come Springtime) with budding greenery on the outdoor pavilion and boardwalk, also combining the beautiful rustic brick and moody lighting indoors for your reception.

Another perk of this venue is the historic Nicollet Island Inn right next door, perfect for getting ready in the morning with your family and Wedding Party! Not to mention so many popular photo ops in the heart of downtown Minneapolis within short walking distance.

The team at Nicollet Island Pavilion were so generous and easy to work with when planning Heidi and Dan's Wedding last August! We are looking forward to future Weddings and events here 😊

Mama was an amazing lady... we will miss her so much 😢❤️ the lyrics in the last photo are from her favorite song 🕊

She was the best mother, grandmother, friend, and a giver to her family and community, a beautiful life of 90 years. We will miss her dearly, but we know she is now in the hands of our Lord and back with dad, Archie, they were married for 69 years.

About an hour after she left us, a cardinal perched itself on a tree outside her room... not sure if it was her or dad visiting us, but it was such a beautiful moment. ❤️
